SOmeone above said yes there is a hole for umbrella. And Q&A on the home depot site says there is a hole and wood plug if you dont want to use an umbrella. 🙂

That’s strange. Mine definitely has one. Ordered approx 4 months ago. Just as a wood cork in the center when you’re not using the umbrella hole.

I just wanted to say that I received this on Friday and am so ecstatic with my purchase. (the Barnsdale set). Mine DID have an umbrella hole and the teak is just beautiful. Very well made set. I had set my mind on purchasing a different set for around $800.00 and was pleased to get this one for around $250.00! I treated it with teak oil and a sealer to make it last longer. Thanks again!
