   I picked up a red bag this morning (feeling patriotic) and noticed the coupon in the ad said the customer is responsible for any sales tax but they didn’t charge me any (I’m in California). Also finally remembered to pick up my free Tofurky at Whole Foods with coupon (sale expires 9/13) just a couple blocks away, so I’m happy with my two freebies for now. I appreciate all your savings reminders for those of us that need it!

   I got my red bag at Rite Aid today and the didn’t charge me any taxes. I’m from Oiho

  We’re not charged tax on store coupon value in the state of Ohio. We are charged on manufacturer’s coupon values. The coupon is a store coupon, so no tax. 🙂 HTH

   I went in to the Oakwood, GA store to get the light bulb deal and a bag. As I wandered toward the front, the associate asked if I needed help finding something and I said “no, just checking for those lovely 75% off tags”. She showed me to a part of the dollar section that was 75% off still had the 50% off sign. I FILLED my free bag with some great deals. Great job young lady!
