Don’t feel like cooking dinner?

For a limited time, whenever you dine-in at your local Olive Garden restaurant (not valid for To-Go orders), you can choose from UNLIMITED servings of their classic Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Lasagna Classico, Fettuccine Alfredo, and/or Chicken Parmigiana entrées – with prices starting at just $11.99!

Olive Garden

Plus, you can mix and match entrées when ordering seconds and try something new each time, but note that the price on your bill will reflect the highest priced entrée that was included in your order. And, as always, you’ll start with unlimited soup or garden-fresh salad and breadsticks with your meal.

What are the dates for this special?

    • Cathy Bowman

Theres no dates listed, even on their website and Facebook. Usually it last 20-45 days each time they run it however.

      • bananaphobia

I read elsewhere that it was until March

    A friendly reminder:
When partaking in this deal (or any similar restaurant deal), please remember to tip according to how much your bill SHOULD have been, not what it is after discount. If you order the $11.99 pasta, and get one refill, you should tip on the bill being $23.98 not $11.99.
Servers often get under-tipped during promotions such as this. Just because customers aren’t paying for the pasta refil, doesn’t mean the server didn’t do any work to provide that for you.

    • Kaylee

Because you think that refill is worth the same as the first plate? Never. Usually way under half the size. And considering the servers expect a tip nowadays regardless of how their service is, if they refill drinks and don’t disappear for long periods, they will get tipped based on their service. This us the reason I rarely go out anymore and restaurants are closing all over town. Attitude of the servers… I don’t believe that people often under tip when service is great. And if you didn’t get the tip you “expected”, there is probably reason. Or maybe just maybe, it is because if I feed my family of 5 at a local restaurant or Denny’s for $30 ($4.50 plus for tip) or we go to say go to Olive Garden and it costs us $80 ($12 plus for tip) , I can guarantee you that most of the time, that server who served the $30 meal worked a lot harder and the tip is much lower and they didn’t expect any certain amount. Tipping is over rated and should be $1 to $2 a person depending on service – not price of the food.

        Totally agree!

I have worked as a server at OG and other places. During these kind of promotions at OG EVERYTHING is unlimited. Drinks, salads, soups, bread, and the entree. Some people can really “take advantage” of this and a server can make 10-15 trips to 1 table within a 45 minute dining time. (Perhaps causing a less than perky server?) It is a lot of work and usually for a 10-15% tip on a bill as small as $25-30 for 2 people. Yes it is their job, but I know I worked way harder for a smaller tip there. If you can’t afford to tip accordingly, please don’t go out to eat.

Just in case anyone is wondering, the Spaghetti is 11.99 and the Chicken Parmesan is 17.99! That chicken is what I have craved since having the Pasta Pass! A little more than what I want to spend though. Thanks Colin for letting us know about the offer. Love your site!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the heads up Cheryl! You’re very welcome!

I have a dumb question. Do i need to take at least one entry per person ? Even for kid..

    • Sarah G

I would think each person would be charged for a meal. Like if you bought one soda thinking you could just share your free refills within anyone at the table.

  7. Darlene

Can you take your second plate home?

    • Sarah G

I bet you can, as they would just throw out what you don’t eat. Just don’t tell them that is your plan. 😜

    • bananaphobia

When these type of deals pop up, I always order another round, eat a few bites (or mix it around), then ask for a to-go container.

  8. Saves4home

I did not get the idea. If 2 adult and I kid is dinning in, can we order 2 classic plate and charged for the highest price of the 1 plate, correct?. Is soup, breads and salad included? Should we order beverages as well or its optional?

    • Karla

You would need to purchase a meal for each person. This is not a BOGO free deal, rather you can have unlimited refills. So, if you want a second helping of an entree, there is not an extra charge. Breadsticks and soup OR salad are included in the cost. If you would like a beverage other than water, there is a charge. Drinks are not included. Your family of three would purchase three meals from the selected entrees (of course if your child is young, they can order from the kids’ menu) and then be eligible for refill servings.

      • Saves4home

        Thanks. got it

In Indiana, servers are paid $2.13 an hour.
The server reports 8% of the check as what they made of that customer.
If you take advantage and do not tip, the server isn’t making a fair wage.
Anytime there is it’s a promo deal in a restaurant, servers work harder because of the increase in customers, and sometimes they do not make 8%.
Many different rules in other states and other food service industry.
Google tipping in your state it talk to a manager.
I did my boot camp in the Food and Beverage industry. I did all the jobs and was General Manager at an upscale California Italian restaurant (yes there were famous customers).
Think twice before you short that server on their tip.
