Anyone know the age group on these
8 and up
Anyone know how these books are? Like can kids learn good lessons reading them? I don’t like Junie B Jones because kids imitate her bad behavior. Is Ramona different?
Haha think of Ramona like an ADHD kid. They try so hard, but things don’t always go as they should.
(We are an ADD family. Speaking first hand 🙂 so much love but not always logical filters- very creative 😀
They are cute. Have you seen the movie?
Alena, we don’t like junie either. I’m from Portland and count Ramona among my many literature childhood friends. As a child I remember commiserating with her how hard and frustrating it was to be ‘good’. As a parent I appreciate that Ramona throws tantrums and acts out but her point of view is shown and ALWAYS reigned in by an adult, a lesson in patience, kindness and temperament is always learned. Hope this helps!
I agree exactly and use Ramona books in my classroom of 9-10 year olds. I, too, dislike Julie B.
Lol. I think junie is bad news!! I avoid those books!!!
I loved these when I was Little. My girls have the set and enjoy them too $9.99 is a great deal!!
Thanks so much for the feedback! Glad to hear how both you and your daughters have enjoyed them!
Anybody remeber reading these? I liked the boxcar children, American girl etc.. This takes me back 😊
Yes! When i was young, I loved the Ramona books and the Fudge books. Later, I liked Babysitters club and then Sweet Valley.
