I’m looking for a basic printer. It does not need to print color, no faxing, no copying, something that is cheap on ink. It would be nice if it was small. Anyone know of a good printer?
I suggest that you look into one of the basic Brother brand black & white laser printers. They go on sale pretty frequently. On sale, you should be able to find this model or a similar one in the $50-60 range. The toner cartridge that it comes with doesn’t print as many pages as the regular ones, but still lasts a long time, and you can buy genuine Brother toner cartridges or off-market ones. I have been very happy with my Brother printers.
I love my Brother wireless b&w as well. I buy ink once a year and print coupons and paperwork daily. I never realized how much money I was wasting not using a toner printer. I found mine refurbished at Walmart for 39.99. They are constantly available on Best Buy too.
