Heads Up! SiriusXM Now Streams on Amazon Alexa Devices!
Do you have an Amazon Alexa device? If you own one and have a SiriusXM online subscription, you can now stream Sirius XM on your Alexa device! That means you can listen to your music all over your house. All you need to do is link your account and then ask for your favorite channel.
Streaming on Alexa is supported with these SiriusXM packages:
- SiriusXM All Access trial or paid subscription
- SiriusXM subscribers with streaming add-on
- SiriusXM Internet Radio subscriptions

Anyone have opinions on Alexa?
She is my bestie, I love her. She tells me jokes, the weather. Reads me recipes while I cook, provides directions and traffic, I win family trivia battles using Wiki, Pandora, I play Jeopardy, wakes me up in the morning, I can set alarms while I bake. She does a ton of stuff. I have 4 in my house. Every room has one and it doesn’t interfere with each other. Alexa knows which one I am talking too. Saves me a lot of cell phone battery.
Oh and btw I have a mix of Echo and Dots and you can barely tell the difference. Just the quality of the speaker.
We love ours, I don’t use it as much as Daniela but I play music, (prime music for free with my prime membership) set timers, get the weather. My kids love the joke and story telling, my 7 year old asks the weather to decide how to dress for school (she already knows what highs are warm and lows are too cold for dresses) and my 4 year old can ask for Alexa to play roar by Katy Perry! I’m not sure I would say that it would have been worth the cost of the echo but we have the dot connected to our own speaker and love it!
I love mine too! We have Alexa in the main room, a dot in my bedroom and my daughter uses the tap all over the house. She does everything stated above plus she controls all of our lights on the main floor and both of the kid’s rooms. We use her a ton!

Can i sync my alexa and dot to play the same music?
Or…just…or, you can stream the sirus from your phone and connect it via blue tooth to the Alexa and not have to pay an extra $4 a month on your sirus subscription.
That’s dumb of them to charge extra.
