We had the BEST time ever this weekend!!! My kids are in love and already want to go back. I could share pictures for days and cannot wait to make the free Shutterfly photo book. We cannot thank you enough for providing memories we will cherish for a lifetime.
I’ve stayed at the one in NC for a week … Oh boy was it fun. We went in the off peak season so the outdoor pools were closed but it didn’t matter. There is so much to do indoors from the water slides, wave pool, lazy river, and the water playground and that’s just on the water park side … They had an entire section just dedicated for game machines bigger then most chuck e cheese.
Eeeek. The fees are an extra $60/nt plus taxes. Shoot
Hi Kelli, where did you see the extra $60 in fees? I can’t see that in the fine print. Thinking of staying 2 nights in Grapevine, TX for our family of 4 and getting it under $500 seems like a good deal. But I’ve never price shopped for a stay here. Thanks for your help!
We stayed at the one in Traverse City this winter, kids had an absolute blast! Definitely recommend it!
Thanks for the feedback, Samantha! 😀
Has anyone else used package deals like this? I’m wondering what ‘extra fees’ are gonna come with this? Sounds too cool for the discounted pricing!
Some input since we are currently using a Groupon deal for Great Wolf right now.
We live very close to the Mason Ohio location and I purchased for my two kids, ages almost 5 and 8. The taxes and fees added about $80 to the listed price for a standard room that sleeps 6 and comes with 6 water park bands.
You are allowed to begin using the water park at 1pm on the day of your arrival even though you aren’t guaranteed to have your room until 3pm. Pools close between 8-9pm depending on the season. Pools don’t open the next morning until 10am, but you have access to them until closing on your second day. The only problem is that checkout is 11am.
My kids had a wonderful time, but my youngest wasn’t able to do more than ~3 hours at a time without a snack/nap break.
In general, it was a great time, but I was glad that we lived close by because the hours that you have access to the pools vs the rooms make it difficult to take advantage for long periods of time.
We love Great wolf but that napping situation is bad. There is always a quiet spot where you see mom’s with napping kids in lay down strollers, on them or in sports utility wagons. But neither of mine will sleep in that park.
The fees are pricey and everything in resort is expensive too! That said-we live about 30min from Mason location and it is my kiddos favorite water park! It is a very special treat for them once a year -they love the MagiQuest too!
I consider no mkre than $250 a night including the resort fees to be the best deal I have seen
One night is good enough, you can check in by 1 o’clock and stayed first day till water park closes, can also stay in the water park till it closes but you have to check out by 11am and leave your belongings in the car, kids always get tired by the second day so no need for two nights.
Sorry, forget to say stay in the water park till close second day.
Thank you!! I have been looking for a good deal for Great Wolf. Our kids are going to be so excited!! 🎉
Awesome! You’re very welcome!
They have 2 night options available for purchase. Are the additional fees per night or per stay?
i just purchased a night at the Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, Ohio from the actual Great Wolf Lodge website and with the member deal (which is free to sign up for) it was $164.99 a night plus a $25 resort credit which is better deal because the Zulily is $159.00 a night for the same time period.
We just booked last week at 50% off whatever room you wanted. If you can I think it’s best to go through the hotel themselves rather than Zulily.
It’s cheaper booking through Great Wolf Lodge directly. We go twice a year. We always use the bounce back offer which is the lowest price I’ve ever seen plus no deposit is required. We pay $145 (taxes and fees included) a night at Mason, Ohio for a family suite for our family of 6.
Bounce back offer?
they send you an email after your stay with an offer.
Okay. Thank you for responding. 🙂
These deals have check in on Sunday to Thursday only. Just keep that in mind if anyone is missing that
