It means it will fit a twin bed that is extra long.
No, for some reason a lot of dorm mattresses are extra long twin

Ugh- Wish these were Full XL. Stupid furniture shop sold us a full XL bed without telling us it was full XL. Finding those sheets are the hardest! (Unless I want to spend $100 on sheets for my kids bed.)
