Looking for a deal on backpacks?
Starting July 16th, head over to Office Depot/Office Max where they will have SwissGear Backpacks for only $10 (regularly $28.99) – available in-store only. They will have a limit of 3 and only stock on hand – no rainchecks.
I just wanted to let everyone know that these are a great deal! I bought one two years ago when they had this deal. My now 5th grader will be using this bag going on it’s 3rd year this year. No holes or major signs of wear. I will definitely be going to grab another as backup.
I had the opposite experience. I got one last year for this price and the backpack did not hold up. Zipper fell off and part of the backpack starting to ripe.

These backpacks are great! My son has used this backpack for 2 years and it’s still in great condition. A little on the small side, but perfect for elementary school kids!
I was going to say the same thing. Good quality, it’s held up well, but too small for my high schoolers. Worked great for elementary and middle school, though.

I even suggest to my son that he gets a different one or a new bag when we’re out and I see various bookbags at decent prices, but he insists he doesn’t want or need another one. Love that!!

I purchased a few last year and gave my son one. It has lasted the whole school year!! That’s a plus!!– if a book bag can last a whole school year with no rips or tears.
Based on bag quality or usage, take into consideration how the bags are stored/ used. Is it dragged on the classroom tile (children can be really rough on things), concrete, ground, or at home, or to sports events? There are many factors which can cause a well- designed bag to not hold up very well.
Sometimes, however, there can be a bad batch. In my experience, these bags held up well… then again, I don’t like seeing bags bragged on the floor, etc. There have been other book bags brands I’ve purchased that have developed zipper problems, or the material hitches, rips or otherwise the bag just loses other qualities it once had to keep its shape.
Bottom line, get this bag!!!! Especially at this price of $10. I wish I could get more than 3. The closest store is over 30 minutes away, so I won’t be grabbing this deal unless it’s online or I can get more than 3.

Yes they do. Supposedly 110% but yesterday when I went to price match they only gave me 100%!?

I am also wondering where this deal is advertised at for Office Max/ Office Depot, is it in a flyer I tried to look at the back packs on their site and was unable to find these 3 and look at them a little closer since I would be driving quite a distance to the store I want o be sure it is something we are going to want. 🙂
Same thing happened to me at Staples. They gave me some bs reason that they don’t do 110% price match on sale items smh

I got one last year for my son. It was run over about three weeks into school. Although it ripped a little, he used it all year! Amazing bag. We just got bags at 5 Below but I might return for these.
If you ever find a great deal on Jansport backpacks, I highly recommend. They are a little more expensive but the company guarantees the product. They will fix or replace them for life if they get defective in any way. I have sent my daughter’s backpack in a couple time with tears and they have replaced them with no questions asked. They have awesome customer service and you’ll never have to purchase one again
