350 Gymboree Stores Are Closing! Final Sales Start TODAY – Up to 50% Off Lowest Ticket Price
As I mentioned last month, Gymboree is closing approximately 350 stores mainly across the Gymboree and Crazy 8 brand as part of their Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. To see if you live near a store that will indeed be closing, head here and select your state from the drop-down menu.
If you do indeed live near a closing store, you may want to head in soon to shop the Store Closing Sales which are scheduled to begin today, July 18th! At these sales, you can save as much as 50% off the lowest ticket price on swimwear and winter wear! Keep in mind that store closing sale prices cannot be combined with any other discounts or coupons and all sales are final.
Closing Store Facts:
–> No coupons will be accepted at closing Gymboree and Crazy stores including coupons from magazines, email, direct mail and customer service accommodations.
–> Note that you can redeem Gymbucks at closing stores for the redemption period of July 18-31. Beginning July 31st, Gymbucks will continue to be earned in closing store locations; however, they cannot be redeemed in closing locations after the July 31 date. After July 31, Gymbucks earned at closing store locations can be redeemed online and in go-forward stores.
–> Gift cards will be accepted in closing stores.
–> Merchandise credits will be honored throughout the store closing sales.
–> You will earn loyalty rewards for purchases made in closing stores. Reward certificates issued for the period July 31-September 17 only will be honored. Newly issued reward certificates will not be honored in closing stores beyond September 17.
–> All sales at closing stores after July 18, 2017 will be final. The receipts will be stamped accordingly and the merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged to any Gymboree or Crazy 8 store.

(Thanks, Theresa!)
It won’t let me click on the link to see what stores are closing near me 😩
How odd! Let me know if this link is working any better for you –> https://gymboreerestructuring.com/gymboree-stores/
The link in the post makes my app shut down, but this link in the comments works for me. Maybe a mobile app issue?
Glad our store isn’t on the list
Try now. it took a while but it just loaded for me.
Mansfield, ohio is in the list. I am so sad😞
I hope they start to offer free return shipping now. The only reason I would go to their stores is to return things bought online.
me too !
Yesterday I went to Crazy 8 and spent $36 on 8 items (including a nice winter coat). They accepted my 20% coupon but I don’t think they’ll be accepting any longer, great sales though!
NJ: seems to be the higher end Malls in affluent areas.
Yes.
Same in AL! So interesting.
Went today to our local Gymboree which is closing and prices aren’t that great yet
Darn! Thanks for sharing!
3 stores in my area are closing. Hope to get some good deals for my son, and baby due in january!!
How exciting! Congratulations! 😉
I was able to get 50% off the lowest ticket price last Saturday and it was a store that will be staying open! I had a gift card for $25, and ended up paying only $1.89 out of pocket for: 2 pairs of shoes, a sundress, a pair of gymgo athletic capris, and a swimsuit!
Great score Laura!
It’s the 1st time to find a closing store near my location in nj . Do they usually have sales going further down, say to 70%? Thanks.
I’m glad to see my local store was not on a list.
Still I will shop there more often to support them.
I don’t feel comfortable enough to shop online, since I’m a person who love to check on how each clothing fit to my little ones and also what kind texture and thickness of materials they use for.
My local (30 minutes away) Gymboree is staying open however the Crazy 8 next door is closing. I always found way better deals in store at Crazy 8 on clearance vs Gymboree. It seems Gymboree’s online clearance has always been way better than in store. I have $150 gymbucks to use starting tomorrow….will be interesting to see prices and offerings this time around.
Can you order online?
It appears to be in store only.
Anyone has been to the store in Short Hill NJ? Do they have good deals now? Thanks
Went to a local Gymboree closing today and prices were really high…like higher even than normal sale prices. Items I bought online last week were twice as much..
Same with me – just got back from the store and most items are still higher priced than they were a couple weeks ago for the July 4th sale. I’m hoping the deals improve closer to closing, though.
thanks for posting. I was thinking about making the trip to our closing store which is 30 minutes away because I really like Gymboree clothes but I’ll hold off…. don’t want to waste the gas
Thanks for posting this. Last year my local crazy 8 store closed and the sale was 80 percent off And they let you use a coupon! Looks like this one I’ll pass on until it gets better!
I too went and was shocked by the mark up for the sale. The only things that are 50% are bathing suits and outer wear (which my store had none of). I was in 3 weeks ago and bathing suits were marked 6.99 with 20% off. Today that same suit, in that same store, in that same size, was “marked down” to 24.99. That’s 4 times what I paid 3 weeks ago. I looked that same suit up on their website and it’s only 9.59 on the website, but 50% of 24.99 in store! I walked out with nothing, as everything else is only 30% off the supposed marked down price, which I”m sure is also inflated.
Agree. I checked yesterday and prices are lower online by a few bucks for the exact same items in-store which are ‘on sale’. There are no great deals yet, not even in the clearance section.
Both Gymborees & the Crazy 8 stores by me are closing. I think almost all IL ones are. They should offer free shipping then. But I agree with trying on the clothes with my daughter also. Crazy 8 seemed to be better priced & softer.
Darn! I was just at our store over the weekend and put some stuff on hold because I didn’t have a coupon with me. Looks like I won’t be able to use the coupon now. I really like their clothes. Am I the only one who gets sad about stores closing? Our mall is already half empty!
Melissa check your store. My closing store has a sign posted that they will accept coupons thru 7/23, then will stop! Not sure if this is all stores but I’d check to see.
My kids are teens now but I took a peek just to see if the stores near me are closing. I hate to see stores close down. I just really don’t like shopping online. I guess I’m in the minority these days.
I don’t like shopping online unless it’s something I’ve already bought or saw in store.
I love the outlet store at Birch Run, it is one of the bigger outlets in Michigan, its on the list. A lot of stores in Michigan are on the list, too sad.
I was there today, sales were 30-40% off regular prices, wasn’t impressed.
I thought I was the only person complaining about the prices lol
I went in last week I believe and everything was super expensive
regular price was 30% off online 50%
didn’t bothered checking the rest
I asked if someone knew when the prices were going to go down or when closing was no one had a responce
