Just looked on here and saw they also have Mo Willems books! Unfortunately, the plushes are all sold out. 🙁 People are now selling them on eBay for way more. Darn!
I think the mo Williams books are the new set coming out they probably don’t have the plush for sale yet. They were not released before when the golden books were out or before that.
I saw the Mo Willems plushes in store. Tons in stock. Go to your local store.
Thanks! I got the Poky Little Puppy plush to display with my vintage copy. Also I received the ‘Every I need to know I learned from a Little Golden Book’ for Christmas a few years ago, it’s very cute.
How cute! You’re welcome Rebecca!
Anybody know the size of these — like would they fit in a shoebox for the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes?
I wouldn’t do these. the books might fit but the stuffed animal would take up most of the space…I’d rather send lots of goodies, treats, and necessities rather htan just one fun larger thing anyway.
I just got a bunch of cute 49cent items from walgreens yesterday for shoe box gifts…little planes and wind up, walking toys and other random things.
it says •8″H x 8.75″W x 10″D on the puppy, •10″H x 8.5″W x 7.5″D on the lion…others are similar
These are like the large kids hard cover books you buy at the store, not the small size of normal golden books.
Operation Christmas Child actually suggests that each box have a WOW gift. These are perfect. Quite a bit of “stuff” can still be added to the box around it. A stuffed animal will generally last longer for a child than a box full of trinkets that will be lost or break. My daughter and I paid $1.50/each for 50 of these Cares animals from Kohl’s.. The Curious George, Madeline, Paddington ones. So excited to do boxes this year!!!
I LOVE Kohl’s Cares stuffed animals, they make excellent gifts. Too bad I already bought my son the cat as soon as I saw it arrive in store. My brother got him the lion for his birthday. They’re so cute.
I started buying the book and matching stuffed animal last year when I was pregnant. My daughter has quite a nice collection now and it’s still growing! While she’s so little still, I only, have board books out so they’re more durable and all of these are put away for when she’s just a little older.
Oh and while you can’t use discount codes on these, you do earn kohls cash!
