Just alternate between whoever has the other card each year. Me and my husband flip flop each year for our membership!
The best deal I’ve been able to come up with as a current member is if you’re a Discover Card customer check your account under ‘Discover Deals’. I always have an offer that says: ‘Join Sam’s Club or renew your membership and receive a $25 gift card as a Plus Member or a $10 gift card as a Savings or Business Member.’ Then you print the deal and take it to Sam’s club. Unfortunately, it’s all about getting new customers and not rewarding the loyalty of current members.
Do the coupons have to be redeemed today?
I was wondering the same thing. I logged into my account, and under instant savings I found the items I “won”. When I clicked on the free chicken, for example, it shows the offer is good until January 31. I also clicked on the $2 off strawberries that I chose and it shows the same date, January 31. Hope that is true! 🙂

Thank you! We’ve been members for months now, but I did the game just in case and it worked! I went by Sam’s Club earlier to get my freebies. They all loaded to my card without issue. So even if you’ve been a member for over a month, I’d give it a shot!

I checked my coupons but the rotisserie chicken says $2 off and not free. Anyone else get this?
i go in on friday hope they are still on the card then would love the free chicken
I went through all of the steps, but it did not work for me. I looked online at my instant savings and went directly up to Sam’s and it wasn’t on my card. I renewed 3 days ago and upgraded to Plus, so maybe that had something to do with it.
The description says it’s for “new” members only. Since you were a current member who was renewing a membership, you wouldn’t qualify.

Like Katy M., we also recently renewed our membership (after our first membership expired) , but after playing the game, I received the message that it was only for new members. What a bummer. 🙁
We cancelled our membership and joined Costco when it came to town. I kinda miss Sam’s. They have some things that Costco doesn’t have. Is there a way to join and be a “new” customer again?
There’s a time frame for them considering you a “new” member for promotions. I think it’s a year. If you call and tell them your info they can certainly tell you.
What msg did you guys get at the end? Mine has something like “……….just a reminder, it’s only for new members”. We are rejoining after one year break, not sure if they treat us as new member.

I joined today, did the treasure hunt and won, among other things, a free rotisserie chicken. However, upon checking the Samsclub.com website under my instant savings the only things that showed up (other than the coupons from the current flier) were the 4 berry sunday, slice of pizza and drink. I also joined with a Value Pack promo where I “got dinner” – it didn’t state what the dinner was but showed rolls and a rotisserie chicken. I was told those two items would automatically load right to my card. They did not. I am owed two rotisserie chickens and a bag of dinner rolls. I hope I won’t have a problem going back tomorrow to redeem them. UGH so annoying. I am hoping that they will show up by tomorrow. They kept the Value-Pack coupon so I don’t even have that to prove that a “dinner” was included – I just have the receipt with a code.
