We love ours so much we bought a second one. Highly recommend! Previous to this mattress we had a 4 digit dollar mark custom mattress😲 (pre-Hip2Save life). We move quite a bit & it was a pain to move so lightened our load with this memory foam one & have had zero regrets!
Happy to hear how pleased you have been with your Memory Foam Mattress!! Thanks for the awesome review!
Really need some good mattresses for our family after Harvey at an affordable price. Does anyone know what the quality of these are?
These are really good quality mattresses. We have 2 of these exact ones, an 8 inch and a 10 inch, for our kids. Their mattresses are seriously better than our $800 mattress! I still wake up with back pain from our mattress sometimes, but not if I sleep with one of my kids on theirs! Definitely recommend!
Lisa, is there a huge difference in the 8″ and 10″ comfort wise. Looking for a new mattress for my son in college, so I’m wondering which is more comfortable to you. Thank you
I also am interested in any comments on whether the twin gel memory foam is at all cooling? I live in Sunny, hot south Florida and we always need to consider the heat that a foam gives off when you sleep on it. Any thoughts H2Savers who own the twin gel bed?
I don’t own his mattress but my memory foam bed does get a bit hot in the summer ( I don’t have AC) I puchased a Red Nomad bamboo protector and it helps keep me cool!

These links are a great combo for queen size I bought them a year ago. I bought a second set a few days ago. I have Scoliosis knee stability issues and foot problems the bed isn’t a magic cure for pain, but it helps The mattress doesn’t get to hot in 80 degree weather now above that I don’t know. Putting the platform together is lot of work if your out of shape. I recommend using a socket wrench along side the tool they provide.
I paid $279.95 last year for the queen size mattress and $239.95 every few months the price rises and drops for the queen size mattress.
Okay….. I’m going out on a limb and trusting you Hip2Savers who have said great things about these mattresses every time Collin has posted about them…. I just ordered a queen one 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I’ve had mine for 3 years…LOVE it! Even purchased one for a friend last year AND just sent my brother a link bc he tried it yesterday!
Good! I went back and ordered 2 of the twin mattresses too, one for my son and one for our guest bed. ALL the mattresses in our house are really old!
Has anyone ever used these for floor seating? If not, is there anyone who can recommend something for that? Thank you.
Does this mattress sit on a box spring?
It can if you have a box spring. Ours is on a Zinus Platform Frame
Would the 8 or 10″ be better for the bottom bunk ? We are putting our 3 year old in with the 5 and 7 year old- two littles on a full bottom bunk. Thank you!!!
It depends on how deep the bunk is. I would not hesitate with a 6 or 8 inch for kids bed, it really depends on your bunk.
Hi, do you think this would work in a Murphy bed? Thanks!
I don’t see why not.
I think the price has gone up. It seems that Walmart is doing the same thing Amazon does.
Correction—it now shows the sale price again for the twin size.
We bought a 12 inch memory foam mattress from walmart a couple of years ago. It has been LIFE CHANGING! I used to have such a rock hard mattress and would wake up practically back crippled and in pain every morning. Brand name good mattress but just not for me! Bought the memory foam and put it on top (yes it raised it a bit because of how thick but that was fine too) and have never slept better. Just make sure you unfurl and let it decompress for the recommend 24 hrs before you sleep on it.
Agreed! Proud owner for 3 years with back issues! This is better than any coil/spring mattress.
Ok guys, I took a chance and ordered the 8″ twin GEL memory foam mattress for my granddaughters daybed. I pray it’s cool enough for them as we can get hot spots in the house occasionally here in South Florida. Anyone ever had to return this? I hope I don’t cuz it’s a TWIN MATTRESS after expansion. Pray it works out!
Gonna be a downer here….bought this 8″ mattress about a year ago and was extremely disappointed. It only expanded to about 5″. It is comfortable but 5″ is not enough to not feel the base underneath it. That being said, we have also bought 10″ and 12″ in this same mattress and they were fantastic. Could have just received a lemon….but I wouldn’t buy anything less than 10″. IMHO
I’m praying for a fully expanded mattress to the 8 inches for our daybed. I couldn’t take the chance on a 10″ as it has to fit under the bed. I’m praying this turns out well as I can’t imagine toting a twin size mattress back to Walmart LOL
I’ll also chime in to say that we bought a 12″ memory foam mattress for our daughter for her college apartment. She absolutely loves it. She has only used it a few months, but says it’s the most comfortable mattress she’s ever had.
Good to know it has been so comfortable for her!! Thanks for sharing Becky!
Thank you, we needed a non expensive twin mattress for our toddler son. I think this will work perfect for him!!
You’re welcome Alaina!
How do these mattresses come delivered to the house? Are they vacuumed packed in a box or delivered in the full size you purchased?
They are vacuum packed into a ball that you unroll and let expand for 24-48 hours.
Just what we have been looking for! Our boys were in desperate need of new mattresses. For this price, no brainer! Thanks Hip2save!
Awesome that you could snag what you need on the cheap! You are SO welcome!
Off topic but I have a coupon for $10% off at Best Buy (includes major appliances) when you use your Best Buy credit card. Will trade for $10 amazon or target gc. Please email sanatauseef at gmail dot com. It is valid till 10/28 instore only
Thank you! My boys needed these!
You’re welcome Kym!
what a bummer- was waiting for my husband to get home and the price has now gone up 🙁
Looks like the Queen size is now out of stock 🙁
Queen no longer available :/
Darn!
Thank you to everyone for the great reviews my son is outgrowing his twin mattress looking for something bigger
i am going to buy Ikea Kura bed for my daughter and was wondering if 8″ will be too high. Please let me know if anybody has an opinion. Thanks…
Hi. This was found under product info on the IKEA Kura item…so based on the note about recommended mattress size, I would say no.
Good to know
When the bed is used as a loft bed, it is recommended for 6 years and older.
Slatted bed base is included.
*The mattress must not be more than a total of 5⅛” thick in order not to exceed the safety marking on/by the upper part of the ladder.
Use with KURA bed canopy.
To avoid the risk of serious injury, the distance between the bed and the wall must always be less than 2½” or more than 9″.
High beds and the upper bed of bunk or loft beds are not suitable for children under 6 years of age due to the risk of injury from falls.
Thank you for this deal, we needed another mattress and to my surprise it arrived this morning. Crazy fast shipping since I ordered it yesterday.
U have had the spa sensations 8 inch matters for years and it is amazing and so comfortable ! Just bought a 8 inch king
Thanks for the info on the mattress. I look forward to reading about people’s experiences using it. It’s such a good deal, got the cooling gel 8” twin. Hope 🙏🏻 it expands. Some say they didn’t for them. Then you have a great experience so I’m hoping.
