This personal robot is designed for children over 8 and can be built to approximately 2 feet tall! It features six motors for realistic movements and over 3,000 pre-programmed phrases. It offers voice recognition and smart device communication to keep your kiddos busy for hours!
I️ bought it last Christmas. It is really hard to put together. My grandson 10 who is good at putting things together needed help holding screws etc.
Good to know it can be difficult to assemble! Thanks for the feedback Jan!
After reading reviews, it looks like this may be frustrating for an 8 year old, unless they have a very long attention span, sounds more like 12+ judging by the reviews.
I got this at Target for $35 over the summer! Put it aside for Christmas.
Such a great score Candace!
I got the $300 Meccanoid that’s 4ft tall for 49.98 yesterday at Toys R Us!
Awesome!
This is a good toy for a project with adult help. My son and husband did one last year but it took two days! They were very proud when completed, and my son really enjoyed programming it.
How neat! Glad to hear they enjoyed putting it together! Thanks for sharing Nicole!
I had to get someone to put this together for us. Very complicated!
Darn! Thanks for sharing your experience Michelle!
My son did not use it once it was put together for more then a day or two. Assembly was tedious and far more of a job for an adult and programming and making it work right was frustrating to say the least. I have it to him last Christmas and just donated it a week or so ago. Legos would be a much better bet.
Thanks a bunch for your honest review Linda!
My 11-yr-old son, who is very good at building things, got this two years ago (at age 9). He really enjoyed building it, and was able to do it, but has hardly even touched it since.
My son and his grandpa put this together last year. They had a great time and it took 3 days. I would say more hours went into it then playing with it. He was 12 at the time.
My son got this for Christmas shortly after he turned 9. He still LOVES it. Initial build was long, and he did need some help but since then he has played with and programmed this robot a lot. He has recreated his robot to look a bit different than pictured but this is his “go to” toy most days.
