Do you have to keep it plugged into the outlet to keep the beverage hot? I mean could you take it to the ballfield?
Can’t travel. The black base — about 1″ high — plugs into the wall. The pot sits on it (very simply…no latch/release) and a press of a button heats the water in a minute or two. Once heated, you can grab the pot and take it to your table or wherever (but not travel). It’s simply a kettle that plugs in vs use on a stovetop. Hope this helps!! 😃

I’m planning a kichen remodel with navy painted cabinets, and I can envision this kettle on my counter top. As a bonus I also finally ordered the bag of Skittles originals (with lime instead of the green apple) that has been in my Walmart shopping cart for a month. Hooray!!

They do! They are only sold at Walmart, they are called long last lime. = )
How does this work with it keep it Hot like a thermos when you let it sit there?
I can’t say positively, but one comment by a reviewer stated that it has an auto shutoff to prevent boiling dry.
