Anyone have recommendations for best parks to visit on the east coast? We have a 3 year old and would like to camp.

Chippokes Plantation SP in Surry, VA just across from Williamsburg, VA. Elk Neck State Park in North East, Maryland is incredibly beautiful on the neck of Chesapeake Bay, lighthouses, wildlife & an incredibly kept SP. check out The AllStays App, for reviews & more places to camp.

Acadia in Maine is absolutely breathtaking! Bar Harbor is very busy in the summer but it so worth the trip!

    Nice. Yet…Sad..there were 16 free days in 2016 and 10 in 2017. Now we’re down to 4. 🙁

I have handicap plates, we found out on a drive to skyline drive parkway all people with handicap plates or temp. Handicap sticker gets a free all parks pass card. We can get into any federal / state run parks in the USA. Its a huge help fee’s wise even get discounts in the shops and rental cabins and camping lots. So if you have handicap plates ask for your free entry pass card. Debbie Bailey Farmer, Milford, Virginia

Awesome that they have these free days! I usually want to support the national parks anyway so just get the annual pass. Glad to be supporting these programs to protect nature!
