Tell him to look at Speed Queen. Lowes does not carry them. We got sick and tired of replacing them every 6-7 years. Speed Queen is a 25 year machine and not that much more..

I bought the Whirlpool fridge above when we remodeled our kitchen and absolutely love it. Have had it for a couple years and the quality is great. Same with the other matching appliances. Could not be happier with them.

Our local Lowe’s had a TON of clearance appliances this past weekend- we bought a “damaged clearance” washer that was on sale for $719 and we got it for $422!! Had a small dent in the side

My grandma’s house was flooded to the ceiling in a hurricane. We’re trying to help her rebuild and I think some of these prices will not scare her too much. She has not had to buy appliances in a long time so she’s had some sticker shock. So glad hip2save finds such a great variety of deals!
Kathy, Sorry to hear that! If you live in an area where you get gas points for buying gift cards at your grocery store, figure out what you want, then go buy gift cards to make the purchase. When we bought our washer and dryer, it was $1400 total. We bought it with gift cards and it was time to get double points on them, so that $1400 gave us $5.60 off each gallon of gas, and gas prices were half that. We could get 30 gallons of free gas with each redemption, so that felt like getting $170 worth of free gas.
The worker at Lowe’s informed us that this month they will be clearancing all of their laminate flooring and redoing it all this month if anyone is looking for flooring deals!
