As I’ve mentioned in the past, walking down the aisles of Dollar Tree is one of my favorite things to do! It’s so fun to see what new items are constantly showing up on their shelves – especially because everything is priced at $1 OR less!
Keep in mind that Dollar Tree inventory can vary greatly from store to store, but here are a few new items (or new to us items) that we spotted at our local stores recently. Hopefully you spot many of these items too!

I went yesterday to grab some wreath making supplies, for my May the 4th Be With You, project! I grabbed several wire forms and various ribbons. I also found 4 packs of the “invisi-bobble,” style hair ties, and they had refill packs for the Amope electric nail files I picked up there a couple weeks ago! I love Dollar Tree! Almost as much as I love H2S, ha! Thanks y’all!

Yes I got one. Went back to get more for our family fun day to give away and they was gone. Was able to find some replacement heads.
The microfiber hair wrap works great for kids with long hair that are learning to shower. My daughter always had a hard time putting her wet hair up in a towel but this was easy for her.

my dollar tree always has the snyder pretzel packs (8-12 packs) . they are perfect size for school snacks and lunches!
Yes! Mine usually has those too! I love throwing them in school lunches! That is my favorite snack item to grab!
I was there yesterday and they had so many new products. I had so much fun! I got some Easter basket items and some books for Father’s Day. The thing I’m most excited about is the bubble blower I found. It looks just like the small bubble blowers they use at the kids gym places. They blow tons of tiny bubbles. I’ve always wanted one but they are $30 where I’ve found them available. I hope it works!

These aren’t new, but my fav things to get are the laundry bags and the photo/art hanging kit.
My dollar tree had lots of goody and scunci brand hair items!!
For any gardeners, they have tons of seed packs (veggies & flowers) for $0.25 per pack! I’ve purchased quite a few and nearly all of my seeds have germinated already, so they are of good quality! Also as mentioned in a previous H2S post, they have great planter pots, including self-watering that are the perfect 6″ size!
Great Tip! I’ve always wondered about the quality of the seeds there!
Ok so i worked at dollar tree,the bread is what is left in the grocery store when vendors put in fresh bread. They use dollar tree as a thrift store.

I’m going to have to look for those light bulbs. Hubby’s trying to switch all our lightbulbs to LEDs and you don’t see dimmable LED floods for this cheap!
Of course, since he’s on a mission to replace all the bulbs with LEDs, I’ve got a boot box full of CFLs… :-/ Hate to recycle them–they’re still good. Maybe I can find someone to gift them to.
P.S. That power cord would be perfect for my charging station (my personal charging station–NOT the household’s charging station!). Then I could get rid of the huge power strip I have there.

In an effort to be even more frugal, I bought some detergent at Dollar Tree. I got Ajax and Fab detergent. I figured I would use this for things like towels and rugs, etc. They seem like super watered down and not thick. Does anyone have an opinion on if these are decent?
My husband and I are reformed detergent “snobs” after trying the Totally Awesome detergent from the Dollar Tree. I read a review on Clark Howard and decided to try it. I use it along with a scoop of the Totally Awesome Orange Oxi (just like Oxi Clean). While it may seem watery, it really cleans our clothes, does not have an overpowering, just fresh scent. My husband who is REALLY picky about his clothes…..likes this brand a lot and couldn’t believe the price. No issues at all. If I have a heavier load then I do use more than the one capful but that’s just me, not sure if it would be necessary. For the price, I don’t mind using a little more occasionally.

Dollar tree is the worst place to work.and they sale food with expiring date n they’re store is not clean mice dropping on candy n some are open n management is the worst .
Has anyone tried the dollar tree ‘generic’ hair elastic in black? It comes in a pack of 15. I was wondering how quality is compared to the goody brand (which is sold in pack of 7). Both look exactly alike too.
if you’re talking about the black elastics that are about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, I buy them all the time because my daughter loses them at school, & they are pretty decent for the $1 price. I use them & I have VERY thick hair, & they last quite a while before breaking; if you’re talking about the small, thin “rubber band” type, I wouldn’t bother. Those break on me just trying to get them on two fingers before wrapping the hair! Trust me when I say that, the best elastics I have EVER found are the brand PROCLAIM by Brentwood Beauty Labs International, Inc. — these are AMAZING! They are only a few dollars for 500! I purchase mine at Sally Beauty (IDK if this beauty supply store is anywhere besides Utah). They have at least three colors- clear, brown & black. I haven’t looked for other colors. Hope this helps!

I have purchased the hair wraps a couple times, & they run quite small, so I cannot use them.. Just something to keep in mind, & if possible, pull it out & look at it! Hope this helps;)
