Which one is the closest to Alabama I am in mobile

    • GAmommyof4

One is opening in LaGrange, GA in May. That’s not too far from you. They are having a 30% off pre-sale for that location right now.

  2. Boyntwinmama

I’m confused. We go to GWL three times a year, and always book through them directly. Water park passes are included in your nights stay. We’re going at the end of the month…paid $99 a night and that includes two days at the water park.

    • Mbrown

It’s 250 a night through the site for us :/

      • Jenna Law

Yeah , I noticed it was $259 for Saturdays & $140 sundays for us. We decided on Memorial day since hubby is getting paid that day & then he’s just going to make up the next day later. It was $119 for one night, so $159 with the resort fees & taxes.

    • Brittany

At which location though? Every location has different pricing.

    • Day-to-day

I agree booking through the site always works best for us. I booked a week in June two months ago for family of 5 and was around $105 per night after checkout. Didn’t pay for meals or anything extra. Would have cost more through Groupon after the extra fees.

    • Kara

We are a family of 5 and adding each person over the first 4 adds 50 bucks a night. We are going with my mother in law and that would be an extra 100/night through the site. So this ends up being a better deal for us!

  3. Lacey

Don’t forget to use ebates for 12% cash back too! I’m going in Colorado Springs! Thanks for the heads up!

    • LC

      great reminder, thanks!

    • Ms Frizzle

We are checking in today at the Colorado Springs location. I must admit, the reviews make me nervous. They just opened like a year or two ago and I am shocked at the negative reviews! So I guess we will find out ourselves very soon.

      • LovelyMess

We live here in the springs. We stayed about a month ago. It was pretty awesome. We have a 7, 5, and 1 year old. My husband and the kids went on all the slides. I pretty much chilled in the wave pool with the baby. I was disappointed no lazy river! I do have to say they are CLEAN there. I wore a new pair of sandals all day to and from room to pool, they looked brand new still on the bottom by the end. So clean. HAHA

        • Ms Frizzle

Thank heavens all the negative reviews have been wrong so far. They were so nice when they greeted us, no line to check in this time of year and it is VERY clean here. So far so good!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome Lacey! Have fun!

  4. emilymoto

My almost 4 year old has been bugging to go since he sees the commercials all the time… might be a good birthday retreat!

    • emilymoto

The closest one is about 2 hours from us….has anybody been to kalahari(sp?)

      • michelle

We have been to that one in wisconsin and it was awesome. We drove a little under 3 hours one way and only stayed for one night but it was absolutely worth it.

        • vmm

wow, I live 30 minutes away from Wisconsin Dells and avoid it all like the plague:)

      • shel

Planned a recent trip for Great Wolf in WI Dells because we really liked it. When we got there the wave pool was shut down and then they shut down the slides in that section by wave pool for the remainder of our stay it was already busy so it felt even more crowded. We decided to head across the street to Kalahari and stayed there the rest of our time and luved it so much more!!

      • Becky

We are about 2 hours from the Dells and we love the Kalahari! Great Wolf is great too, but we always pick the Kalahari.

        • emilymoto

Thank you! I think we’ll check Kalahari out instead!!!

  5. Jen Law

Just so I understand. I’m reading the fine print & it says a $29.99 charge for resort fees daily. So one night would tack on an extra $30. & then 2 nights $60 right? Or if your stay for only one night do they charge the day you get there, plus the day you leave?

    • CO Mama

You pay the resort fee per night. I know it seems like nickel and diming, honestly you get such value for your money. One of the best family vacations we’ve had in a long time. Beautiful property, clean facilities, accommodating rooms that are ample in size. When you break the cost down per day/ per person, it really is a great value when you consider what a waterpark admission would cost and that doesn’t include a hotel. 🐺 🐻 💦

    • connie

It’s only added for each night stayed. So if you arrive on Monday and leave on Tuesday it’s only a one night fee charged.

    • Jenna Law

Ok thanks! I booked a night for $159. I think my 3 yr old daughter will love it!

  6. MissesK

But this is just for the waterpark passes? It doesn’t include the hotel stay? I thought usually these deals where you pay for the hotel and the water park passes are included?

    • connie

This is for the hotel stay. The waterpark is for hotel guests only.

  7. Nikki

My daughter, 5.5, is in swimming lessons and keeps begging to go to the water park. Booked for May and cannot wait to surprise her with not one but two nights! Hopefully my almost 2 year old will love it too. Never been before and would love to hear any tips you have!

    • Ashley Anderson

Started taking my son there regularly at 2 years old and it’s his favorite place in the world, now 4.5! We are going in 2 weeks, if you’re get their emails they will send you deals frequently. Our trip was $67 a night in Wisconsin Dells.

  8. momo

Keep in mind the $25-30 resort fee per day is added to your bill.

    • Jells12

Mine added $65 dollars for 1 night for “taxes and resort fees” on a $149 room 🙄

  9. Shannon

just an FYI these prices are only for a family of four. You will be charged for any extra children over the age of 2

    • connie

The fine print for the Groupon deal say no additional fee for using room Max capacity. I haven’t tried it thru Groupon to see however.

    • Nikki

I called mine and they said it’s up to 6 with the groupon deal, comes with up to 6 wristbands.

  10. Debbie

Connie, you can max out the room, but will only receive water park passes for the amount of people you pay for..
so if you have someone in your room that is not interested in the water park. they basically are free

    • connie

Thanks. Normally rates are based on a 4 person occupancy even if the room is Max say 6 or 8 and you have to pay for each number of people after 4. This Groupon fine print states you will receive wristbands for the rooms capacity so that is pretty good to avoid that normally extra fee. I usually book through the site directly for good deals but since this deal doesn’t charge for more than 4/room and the dining credit, it’s not a bad deal.

  11. Kimberly

    Love this place.

  12. Denise

The only days available for that price are Monday… rest are very pricey
