LOL, does Hooter’s really sell kids meals?

    • Me

I know, right? Seriously…….taking my 10 year old to Hooters?…..NOT! Ha ha!

    • Gretchen

I had the same thought – guess they market to single dad’s?

    • Sparkle

I’ve taken my girls numerous times…..

    • LindseyB

I have taken my kids there plenty of times. They love it and we as a family don’t really pay attention to what they wear. I see more skin showing on teenage girls now adays

      • Tia

I agree. I live in S. Florida. Hooters girls are overdressed compared to some girls I see! Always nice, friendly service at Hooters.

    • Me

My husband and I went once and there was a couple with their kids eating and i was asking myself the same question i didnt know kids were alowed !

      • Mary

They CLAIM to be a “family” oriented restaurant – they are – it just depends on what kind of “family” oriented you’re wanting!! Nothing like semantics! JERKS! Basically, their definition of “family” is VERY different than the “old school”.

    • Deal-o-saurus Rex

As long as you teach your children right from wrong and they act on that teaching, it should be fine. However, I still would recommend using your money elsewhere instead of you being a patreon of that establishment. Don’t be around that temptation.

Once they’re older, those kids are going to remember what you showed them. Whether it’s right or wrong.

Nevertheless, hope an even better deal comes out somewhere else and you go there instead! 🙂

  2. MrsK

    Thank you

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome!

  3. Lucia

It shows that we live in a pig society when a restaurant named “Hooters” serves kids and thinks of themselves as a family restaurant. Disgusting and straight out of “Idiocracy.”

    • Mary

Hooters/Twin Peaks/Tilted Kilt are all “restaurant” franchises created by men to monetize the objectification and exploitation of women. It’s degrading and disturbing this kind of garbage is still around.

      • Tracy

        I agree!

      • Justine

        Well said, Mary!

      • DetroitJanice

        What Mary said!!!

  4. Lana

I won’t even go to Hooter’S let alone take kids. What is America coming to that they even have kids meals!

    • cindy

I have never been in a Hooter’s with or without my kids and don’t intend to ever go.

      • tracy

Ditto. Never been and never intend to go.

      • *Angela-Miles*

I’ve never been either. Only reason I was ever tempted to go was to order a salad to take with me Lol. Someone brought me a salad from hooters one time and I guess I must have thought it was good enough to go in their an get one LOL. But I never have 😉

    • Daniel

Well, you don’t go there for wings!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That does sound yummy! Thanks for sharing!

  5. Alyssa

    • Chicagomom

Really, my daughter loves chicken nuggets. Thanks for sharing!!

  8. LC

    Thanks!

  9. Ashley

pretty much nothing in my area…..

  10. Amy

Why is everyone freaking out about Hooters? I never worked there, but I knew some girls in college who did. They were paying their tuition and they said they men weren’t that bad. As far as being objectified, they chose to work there. They knew the uniform when they signed on. They aren’t naked. Everything that’s supposed to be covered is covered. I haven’t been in years, but I don’t see anything wrong with it. They’ve got football and fried food! Heck yeah! 😂

    • Justine

We’re not judging the women who work there – it’s a critique of the system they work under and our culture.

      • Mima

        Well said Justine!

  11. Debbie

    Ihop short stacks $1

  12. Michael Box

I-Hop $1 short stack tomorrow only. 1 per person

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome!

  14. Marie

A free Pizookie? What? That’s hilarious. I had to look that up.

    • Bobbie

Oh they are great. You should try one.

  15. Terri

Hooter’s food is pretty crappy anyways. No desire to go back regardless of taking kids or not.

  16. Justine

Oh how I miss Tropical Smoothie Cafe!

  17. Judy Trac

I gotta spend that much to get the free item? Boo

  18. *Angela-Miles*

  20. Chicagomom

Thanks for all the freebies for today!!

  21. Jen Stauffer

Daaaaaang! Judge much???!!!! Y’all ought to be ashamed of yourselves! That’s someone’s daughter you’re publicly shaming! Bullies! If you don’t want to take your children to Hooters, then don’t! But by all means, stop bullying the employees!

    • April

What is a bully? What is public shaming? We all have opinions, some good, some bad, some are simply different. Because I express my opinion and someone disagrees, does not equate to bullying, nor public shaming. I like Hooters. The young ladies that work at Hooters, decide to work there. At anytime, they can make alternate decisions.

I remember a time, when your entire life was not shared in public. Technology has been great, but if we stop sharing, people will stop offering opinions about the things we share! JUST MY OPINION!

  22. Amanda Ward

Didn’t all Firehouse Subs close down?

  23. Arnold s

I took that coupon good for 5 pounds of shredding into my local Office Max I couldn’t believe it when the girl told me it had to be exactly 5 pounds. Not 4 pounds 15 ounces and not 5 lb 1 oz but exactly 5 lbs for the coupon to work. I went up and talked to the manager for a little while and he finally agreed to take my 3 lb of shredding and put it through. Do they really expect to win customers that way?
