My dollar tree won’t let me use a coupon like that $2/4 because it exceeds $1 even when I buy the correct amount of items
Oh bummer! I’m wondering if that might be a rule your store has set for accepting coupons. Their policy does state – “We accept coupons for over a dollar on multiple items if the coupon amount does not exceed the combined retail price of the items indicated.”
My local Dollar Tree does Not accept $1 coupons (so you would get the item for free [well, for tax]).
My store even had the family size box of Lucky Charms!

Mine also had the 3 pack Disney Tsum Tsums!! These were 10 dollars in walmart! I bought all they had. We like to use them in our potted plants and fairy gardens!
