I could use this. Our entire bedroom is over the garage. Our current garage opener is loud. Although, I think being loud also lets me know my husband remembered to close the garage door 😆.
we have this, it makes a horrific loud and annoying beeping noise you cannot turn off, in the name of safety. the protection sensors don’t work during the day and you have to manually shut the garage door. customer service knows its a bug and does nothing to fix it. this is a terrible garage door and I hate it with a passion. We installed it ourselves and had to buy and build extra pieces because its not a one size fits all garages.
I hate this garage door. It has a very loud high pitch beeping noise and strobe light while the door is going down. Called customer service, it’s supposed to do that and there’s no way to over ride it! You can hear this annoying noise across the house!!! Then it won’t close during the day so you have to get out of the car, pull the handle and close it yourself. Customer service knows the sensors don’t work in direct daylight, oh well! Seriously this garage door is a major pain and does not work. Save yourself the heartache and money, look up the negative reviews. We weren’t the only ones with this problem.
We just bought this garage door opener and we were so excited about it. When the installer came (hired from Home Depot), he couldn’t get the sensors to work. We are now stuck with a garage door that doesn’t open and fighting with home depot so we don’t have to pay again for a garage door install. Per the installer he has never been able to get the sensors to work. Home Depot and Ryobi know of the issue and aren’t doing anything to fix it. Save yourself the headache and don’t buy!
Thank you for these reviews. We’ve been eyeing this opener, but instead I think we will pass.
I brought this about a month ago. Love it, best garage door opener. NO problems, yeah it beeps and flashes but i have two little kids and i dont mind it. Super quiet and smooth, really easy installation. I installed it myself with no problems
There are other garage door openers on the market that are also WiFI capable if that is what you are wanting. I have an older model opener actually and bought an inexpensive Chamberlain Hub to convert mine to WIFI. Someone had been trying to guess the code to my garage door during the daytime when no one was home and I finally disconnected it. We now use Alexa or our phone app to open the door if someone needs in and we are not available. We also get a phone notification whenever the door goes up or down “off schedule”. I feel much safer now
We’ve had this for two years…and we love it. The warning noise when it opens or closes is a little annoying to be true, however, it’s a safety feature and I can live with it. The garage door opener itself is so quiet that you often don’t know when your spouse pulls up and in the garage.
The ability to put different attachments on it, like the extension cord, and laser parking lights, as well as the bluetooth speaker, are awesome.
