Hip Tip from Olive Garden Server: This deal is fantastic for those wanting to save money but it’s not so great for the servers. Guests will sit at a table for 2-3 hours and have several bowls of pasta/salad and then because the cost is only $10, they leave a $2 tip. So if you partake in this promotion, please consider how many “refills” your server brings you and tip accordingly.
Awe bummer pesto is not included as one of the sauces. 🙁
This is no deal for us. We cannot even eat the first serving of pasta. When we get take out we share one meal.
Same here….we usually only do take out and I find their best deal is the Buy 1 Take 1 Home offer. We can feed our family with the two meals, soup or salad and breadsticks…..
I remember the days when my kids couldn’t finish one bowl. Now I have four boys, three of them are huge teenagers. This would be so fun to take them to because we are always trying to feed them on a budget which is nearly impossible. When we go out to eat at a nice restaurant we can’t ever get away without spending less than $100. Thanks for the tipping advice, I may not have thought of that.
Hehe your comment made me smile. I have stairstep t(w)eens, right now (almost 11, 12 and 13) and they are just starting to get to the very hungry stage. I love watching them grow. It’s just as frustrating as it is wonderful to try to keep food in the house.
If you go 2 adults and 3 kids (7,5, and 2), do you have to buy 5 times?
The adults will pay for meals, the 7 & 5 year olds eat off kids menu. The two year old eats for free,
If you order food for the two year old you’ll will still have to pay for it unless you share some of your food with him/ her other wise food is that free
