In fact, several Hip2Save team members love these meal kits!

“I love Martha and Marley Spoon! I’ve had some AMAZING dinners delivered right to my doorstep. The thing I love the best – I don’t have to even think about what to make for dinner or pick up ingredients at the grocery store! That’s all done for you, so a total time saver. In addition, I have yet to run into a meal I didn’t enjoy! It really has boosted my cooking skills, too – I especially enjoy learning how to make all the yummy homemade salad dressings instead of just grabbing Ranch out of the fridge.” – Erica, Hip2Save Sidekick

On the fence? Check out these reader comments…

As a single mom of 3 with a big demanding job and a house that takes a huge level of effort to maintain, I’m grateful for Marley Spoon. I initially subscribed because it was too good of a deal to pass up. However, I maintain my subscription because it adds so much value to our lives.

In the past, I’ve spent my entire Sundays preparing meals for the week – wasting valuable time that could be spent making memories with my kids. We live in a rural area and I don’t have time to shop for fresh ingredients, to meal plan, or to consider our nutritional balance needs at the dinner table. Marley Spoon has taken so much stress out of my life. Highly recommend.

I got my box yesterday and made the seared steak and crispy potatoes for dinner tonight. It was delicious! And very clear and easy to follow, which is good because I am not a cook! Absolutely worth the price with the discount. Bonus, it was also really easy to cancel online.

My Hubby and I LOVE to cook – to the point we get a little nuts when the food magazines show up in the mail (Food & Wine, Bon Appetite, Sunset, All Recipes, Cooking Light, etc). For us, Martha & Marley Spoon has been our favorite. Our kid is not picky and usually hates kid menu items because they taste bland to him – and this service was so cool because he could “help” with some of the steps and see on the recipe card what needed to be done.

    HI,
What kind of fried chicken is on that sandwich. I try and try to get that flaky texture and can’t get the breading chunky like that!
    Thanks,
    Rae

Hi there! It looks like that chicken sandwich was offered on a previous week’s menu. They offer some tips for that chicken on their Facebook Page. Hope that helps!

Is there much prep involved, like chopping five different ingredients?
    thanks

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

Hey there Gina! There is chopping prep involved in these meals, but not much! Every meal is pretty simple and takes 30 minutes or less!

Anyone with a gluten sensitivity try this company? How did it go? GF options tend to be very limited on many of these.

Anyone have thoughts on this? I have tried both SUn Basket and Gobble and we still subscribe to Gobble . I absolutely LOVE their recipes and their service.
