This is a one-day hiring blitz to help UPS get ready for annual holiday shipping rush. They will be hiring for all positions, but mostly package handlers, drivers and driver-helpers. Don’t worry that this is just seasonal as this is a great way to find a permanent position working at UPS.
If you cannot attend, you can still apply online at UPSjobs.com. You can read more about this event here.
I worked at UPS for several years and quite enjoyed it. Would thoroughly recommend the job to anyone who enjoys tough, fast paced work. Can also be quite fun too. The benefits such as tuition reimbursement are a nice perk too.
Been working at UPS for 10 years. Didn’t think I will last there when I was being shown the tour of the building. Love the fast pace, the benefits and everything about it. 💖💖💖
Not in my city! Hmm…probably could still apply online. Hip2Save, thank you all for your postings! Not only do you work hard to save us money, but you provide us additional ways to make money.
Are there any jobs yhat dont require driving?
Yes, package handler is the title for jobs inside the building.
Ups will find a job called small sort if you can’t lift much weight
What is the pay like and what shifts are available? Would it be worth it to apply if you can’t work Thanksgiving weekend?
Those are great interview questions Opal! Best of luck to you!
Depending on the sort and area you may or may not work the day after thanksgiving and the saturday. I work in Boise, Idaho preload sort which starts 4:30 in the morning and we are the only sort that works the day after thanksgiving and the saturdays.
This is an interesting article published in 2015 about UPS drivers.

I worked as a seasonal helper (passenger seat, running boxes to houses) while I was on a few weeks break from college one year. It was so cold where I lived but I enjoyed it and made good money!
