  I dont have experience with this, but I was reading reviews to see what we would need and it sounds like the app can be glitchy and frustrating and that the actual game hardware is better.

  I would recommend the Kinect. We tried the app first, but ultimately needed the Kinect for it to work correct. It’s much too frustrating for the kids with the app. Hope that helps
