I did a few print books the other day when they had a similar deal. The quality is not the greatest but I also got an additional 30% off when I picked up because of their weekend coupon so I can’t complain. The coloring always seems to be off when they print pictures of my sons (fair-skinned redheads). They have been nice enough in the past to reprint an 8×10 I ordered but it still looks odd because they had to darken it so much. I don’t have this problem with Shutterfly but perhaps it’s the same-day aspect that makes the coloring different.
I agree the pictures are always cut off and last time my pictures were even loose because they didn’t align the biding right. As said can’t complain price wise.
The pictures will not be cut off if you do one simple thing before ordering. Go to the Shopping Cart and below the image you will see “edit.” If you click on “edit” you will be able to see how the pic will be printed. It’s here you move it around so that your image is not cut off. I, too, found out the hard way! Always edit each and every image to be sure nothing is chopped off!!! Well worth doing this!
I’m considering making a few hard cover books at this price. Are you able to add more pages for an additional price? Any experience with the gift packaging?
I hate their color from the store. Anytime there is a free 8×10 I do the matte print and pay the .99 shipping for the free photo. Totally worth it the quality is so much better!
I just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to Hip2Save for all the photo deals at Walgreens. I got the 25 cent prints and two of the $10 canvas that are beautiful! Just a tip for readers, make sure you look at your pictures before you check out to make sure things are aligned correctly depending on what size you choose so there are no surprises when you pick up your pictures–some sizes require you to resize and it will tell you if it doesn’t recommend printing that size if there is any problems. Keep the deals coming!!
You bet!! You are SO welcome! Super happy you have been enjoying the HOT photo deals!
Thanks for posting all the Walgreens photo deals! Shutterfly is always very time-consuming and frustrating for me so I end up not ordering after wasting hours fiddling with their app. Walgreens is always easy to order from and the price is right!
Please compare with different to another walgreens if you dont like one. I have one super close to my house and their print pictures are really off. It comes out really saturated and bright. But another walgreens about 2 milea away, their pictures come out pretty decent! I like walgreens photo deals because i can gift them with small budget! I like investing more money for pictures to display at my home though.
I agree with you, Sunny. I’m about equal distance between two Walgreens and one is so much better than the other!
I totally agree with bypassing the closest Walgreens if another Walgreens does a better job printing your photos.
I like to do end of the year photo book Starting from January up to december My MOM loves them
Perfect gift idea for a Grandparent…Parent…even for the kiddos (a fun trip flip thru). So grateful for the Hip 2 Save crew posting these incredible deals, with all budgets in mind! ♡♡
Love the photography deals! Thank you, keep them coming!
I just made a 20 page photo book but after code it says I owe $8.10 and that includes pick up. How do I get the total to be $1.75??
You need to put the special code down in the spot that says: Apply Code and the savings will be deducted. You must do this online to take advantage of the deal. If not, you are stuck paying the full price.
Anyone ever do a photobook with a low resolution photo and it come out okay? My phone apparently takes horrible photos because they are all saying low resolution and I’m about to just get them printed in low resolution im so frustrated!
