   Has anyone else had a problem with the CVS instant coupons not printing? Mine have not printed for the past 3 weeks. The store managers/cashiers will always apply the amount, no problem, but that doesn’t help when I want to use the coupon the next week. I did call customer service & they are looking into it, but wanted to check to see if others are having this problem. Customer service did issue me some ECB’s to make up for it, so that was nice.

  Same for me! Customer Service said they didn’t know why it was happening and that if it did it next week they would start a new account for me and move me ECBs over.

  YES! Same for me except CVS managers haven’t applied anyway. I also called CVS customer service & was told there is a problem. Corporate says the store will take care of it, and the store says to call corporate. Very frustrating!

  Don’t get me wrong I love that magic machine for printing coupons but I’m just surprised that cvs still does it. I am always amazed at how many unused coupons are thrown away by people in a wastebasket near the kiosk machine. It seems like a lot of wasted money on cvs’s end when most people have cell phones and can use digital coupons

  Yes, I continue to have this problem too. And when I ask the store staff why I am not getting the promised coupons, they accuse me having already used the coupon at a different CVS. They say that is why they aren’t printing for me in their store. They think I have already printed them and used them. At 9am on a Sunday morning, I assure them I haven’t already printed and used a toothpaste coupon. LOL!

  Thank you for posting this, I thought it was just me. Mine haven’t printed the past few weeks for some reason. I wish they would just have us load them to our card instead!

  I thought it was just me. The cashiers/managers have put it through, but I agree I sometimes prefer to save it for the following week if it has a better sale. My manager said it’s maybe that I abuse the system. Not sure it was a joke or not, but I use my coupons and theirs to get many cheap/free deals. All for me, and all things I need. I will have to call CS then to see if it solves my problem.

  I had a problem with the coupons this week too. They didn’t print at first and then the guy restarted the machine and they still didn’t print. Then he saw it was out of paper. When it started up again, it fed through paper but didn’t print anything. He said that was my coupons. They said recently that the coupons were printing sideways. I called CS this morning and the person I spoke to said she put the Garnier and L’Oreal and Colgate coupons back on my account but they didn’t print when I tried later today. She also gave me some EB, which I guess covers those coupons, although I didn’t get the Colgate this week now.

  I had the same problem with coupons not printing at the CVS red machine. For 3-4 weeks, it kept telling me that I was a “Super Scanner,” but I hadn’t scanned my card that week. I finally called CVS Customer Service, and was told that my account was stuck in the Super Scanner status. It happens when you shop regularly with coupons. According to the representative, the only solution is for CVS to set up a new account for you. And it takes 3-4 weeks to receive a new CVS card by mail.

   I have that same problem a lot here in Pa. N their registers dont like to take mfg coupons or cvs coupons.its always a struggle but when it works its great

   I shop at cvs all the time but, this week only got the loreal , garnier and Colgate , that’s all I get don’t get any like all customers do and have the app – I guess they figure I shop anyways called customer service and send a email no help

   It’s been years since I couponed at CVS, but I seem to remenber there is a certain time that Sunday deals activate on Saturday night. Is that correct? If so, what time?

  It depends on the store. My store activates it at 4 pm on Saturday but it’s different for every storw

   Ever since the new formatting at Hip2Save I have the same problem when printing multiple pages. Page 2 prints blank (and if it is more than 2 pages the 3rd page plus doesn’t even register as a blank page–it just doesn’t print period!) and then page 1 prints but gets cut off at the bottom. Plus the new formatting makes it so less postings print on a page but whatever I can deal with that. It is just really frustrating having to consistently go back and delete the ones that printed on page 1 so that the next postings will print on page 1 etc etc. Does anyone else have this problem? I know a lot of people were having printing issue when the changeover first happened. . .

   I believe on the Kleenex wet wipes deal that is 3/$4, you can only use ONE (1) .50 off on 3 coupon. Your deal says to use three (3) .50 off on 3, but you would have to buy 9 to use 3 coupons. And I am in FL and have not had any issues printing coupons. Not sure if that is a regional issue perhaps?

  the coupon says $0.50 off Three (3) Boxes of Kleenex Or ONE (1) Kleenex Wet Wipes, so the deal as written up is correct if you’re buying 3 wipes. If you buy 3 boxes of Kleenex, only 1 coupon can be used.

    I have a $2 off $12 for cosmetics coupon. I want to use that on the physicians formula deal. Does the amount need to be exactly $12 and above to use the coupon? TIA

  $/$$ crts will also work with the 98% calculation. I used a $4/15 Haircare crt on 3 L’oreal shampoos yesterday @ $4.99 each = $14.97 and my crt applied.

  It depends on the store. Some follow the 98% rule others don’t. You can ask or try it and see if it works. HTH

    In my cvs app under the “only for you” section i have a 3 off coupon for the biorenew shampoo – it says manufacturer coupon on top. I’m assuming this means i couldn’t also use a 3/2 coupon as well?

    My IBOTTA offer for the Olly is only $1.00 not $3. I know IBOTTA offers differ from person to person. Also, in my region the Oreo coupon is $1/3 not .75 off 2. My region doesn’t get he Tide coupons either. I don’t get the whole regional thing. I mean it doesn’t matter what coast you live on, we all buy toilet paper, laundry detergent why not give everyone the same coupons. I just don’t understand the purpose of it.

  I agree, but I’ll go you 1 better. In the Detroit area, the local paper does not have the Tide coupons but the big Detroit Free Press does. Makes no sense.

    On the L’Oreal deal, I shouldn’t have to buy all 3 in 1 transaction to get the $8 EB’s, right? I purchased 2 and the bottom of my receipt says to Buy 1 more to get $4.00 EB. So I went to the store just now and got 1 more but it didn’t print the $4. Instead the bottom of the receipt now says:
    Quantity Toward this reward 1
    Buy 1 more get $4 EB
    Buy 2 more get $8 EB

    I wasn’t able to use the $4/2 L’Oreal Elvive Hair Care or Advanced Hairstyle products coupon found in the 1/6 RMN AND the $2 off 2 L’Oreal Elvive Products Instant Coupon from the Magic Coupon Machine from last week together since both are mfr coupons. (the coupon that printed least week was rejected by 2 CVS/computer would not take because it was marked MFR

    That is incorrect. You can ALWAYS stack a crt from the red box with a paper (or digital) manuf coupon.
    Cashiers assume (incorrectly!) that MFR on the crt means it’s a manufacturer coupon, but it’s on there for tax purposes. Most states charge tax PRE-Coupon and a store sponsored crt will reduce how tax is calculated, but one that’s MFR does not. Example: you buy $8 in product and use a $4/2 manuf q + $2/2 crt that shows MFR. So your tax is calculated on $8. But if that $2/2 doesn’t show MFR, then your tax is calculated on $6 instead ($8 – $2 off crt).
    For the L’oreal, the 1/6/19 ad even showed you could use the $4/2 insert q with the crt. I bought 2 of the Elvive Total Repair Shampoo’s and both crt and manuf q applied. So it was most likely rejected b/c you bought an item that wasn’t coded for the crt.

  They won’t let me use a manufacturer coupon with a coupon that says MFR from the CVS machine either. I am from Illinois. I’ve tried 4 different stores and I am buying the correct products. It’s happened several times (like the Palmolive sale, etc.)

  That sucks. Not sure why they won’t let you, especially when the ad promotes using a manuf coupon with the weekly crt. I’d call CS.. Hopefully they can set the store straight.
