Charming Bicycle Planter Only $69.98 at Sam’s Club
This would be so cute on a patio!
Head to your local Sam’s Club where we spotted this Member’s Mark Galvanized Bicycle Planter for only $69.98!
Note that this deal appears to be available in-store only.
This bicycle includes three buckets with drainage holes for your flowers or plants. We found this in silver and red, but you could spray paint one any color you want to match your home!
Any ideas how I can make this with an old bicycle
Youtube ideas are probably endless. Also look on pinterest. Etsy too. With etsy u will find finished ideas and completed projects people are selling. Take a look and then u can emulate what they created.
I painted an old bike, tires and all, with 2 cans of Rust -Oleum 2x Ultra Cover Paint + Primer (spray cans). Attached 2 clearance wire baskets purchased from Michaels (in a different color). I live in Michigan and I leave it out all year round just doing a very minor touch up in the spring. Did not use any kind of sealer or top coat. Absolutely love the results.
I saw this in the store on Friday, it looked really cheap for the money. I thought that recycling an old bike would be a better alternative than spending money on this item at Sam’s. Good for you and your ingenuity!
Here it is June 27th and I cannot find these at Sam’s in my area. I hope they will restock these. I saw one in my neighborhood and owner told me bought it for mothers day. Wish I was aware of these a few weeks sooner.
I would think that these would not be exclusive to Sam’s. Surfed web and cannot find them anywhere else. Hoping I will eventually find one to buy.
Or Sam’s will restock them again. Maybe there are a seasonal item.
Hi Butch! There are some similar options from Amazon. Hope that helps!
Hi Amber,
If I convert a boys 20/24″ bike to a garden planter I would have to fabricate a way to
keep the bike from falling over. The Sam’s bike has a round metal object (stakes) under both wheels.
You’re right! Hoping Sam’s has these in stock again soon!
Yes, I’ve scoped out the Amazon page and some nice ones for a price ($$$) I do like the Sam’s version and do hope they restock. In the meantime, I am entertaining idea of finding used bike at a yard sale and convert it to a nice
planter. Thanks for the reply.
You’re welcome! Hope you find one soon!
