When I clicked on this link, a pop up said you could save 30% using code SAVE30. Even better!
I’m noticing it comes out to $15 w/ code EXP15 and $24.50 w/code SAVE30
Hi Holly! I am only able to apply one promo code to my order and the promo code listed in the post, makes for a better deal as the final cost is just $15! When I tested using the promo code SAVE30, my final cost was $24.50. Hope that helps!
Yep I just figured that out too….I think I read the original post wrong thinking it was 15% off not $15. Bummer! Oh well, still a good deal!
Hi book for Charlotte area is 35 at 30% off it’s not better than getting it for $15.00 but thx for heads up.
I selected auto renew to save an extra $5 and my order total came to $10!
Now to remember to cancel…
I I’m glad I only spent $10… I just spent some time scrolling through the offers on the app. Not finding anything that we would have used without a coupon. So now just hoping I haven’t wanted the $10
Anyone know if the book has better offers?
I think the book consistently has more offers (like 2 for 1 deals at restaurants). Whether they are “better” depends entirely on your personal shopping habits/preference. I usually wait until Valentine’s Day to get a book around $12 shipped. On year around tax day, I believe they were $10.40 shipped.
The book always has better offers in my experience!
If you cancel without receiving next year’s edition, then you will be charged the additional $5. Therefore, the auto renewal only benefits you if you actually renew.
Oh, and you renew at the full price, I think. So if a book is regularly $36, you pay $10 for the 2019 book, and $36 for the 2020 book, you’ve paid $46 for two years’ worth of book. However, these books frequently go on sale for $15 or $20. So if you pay $15 for the 2019 book without auto renewal, and wait until the book goes on sale for $20 in 2020, then you’ll have paid $35 instead. If you can get it for $15 in 2020 (which is totally doable), then you will only have paid $30 for both years without auto renewal instead of $46 with auto renewal.
Oh wow, thank you so much for saving me from that … I’ll cancel now!
Beware of this company. I signed up last year for the $5 book and didn’t know it was for a recurring subscription. They continued taking $30 a year out of my bank account. They have no customer service or phone number. I went online trying to find a phone number and found out they have tons of unhappy customers with the BBB.
I had no problem on the website finding the email contact. I canceled the annual subscription via a drop down menu selection. Easy peasy
i think i’m going to hold up a few more weeks to see if it drops to $10. the book has come in handy for my family. i especially like the mobile and digital coupons available when we travel as well.
Is it worth to buy?
With the amt of deals u can get thru most restaurants and retailers its not worth it to me. This is literally a book u keep in the glove box and pull out at mcdonalds (just picked as example) if u forgot ur coupons or dont have the app. The deals from an app or any savings sites including H2S are better IMO. This book is ideal for my M-in-L who doesnt research before buying. And even still i dont think she would use these.
TLR…it was a dust collector in car and a complete waste of money.
I think it is! Just the Great clips and Moe’s coupons pay for itself. I never use as many coupons as I normally want to, but you end up saving a bunch!
Probably depends on the area. The Utah book comes with free vouchers for classic fun center. And it gives one on the app. So 2 free entries worth $20 each and 10 free tokens per book. Also has the only coupon available for our favorite Mexican restaurant so more than worth it for us.
My book pays for itself after just using 1 or 2 coupons. Dress Barn coupon is usually 20% off your purchase! And Kolache Factory is usually Buy 3 Get 3 Free! Very good deals, just by using a mere coupon or two!
I did this last year and cancelled. They sent the bool and charged me full price then wouldnt return it unless i paid shipping and return fees that were almost the whole 35 dollars and they were very rude and even threatened me when i got upset after proving i cancelled. I will never buy again and for sure dont get the renewal unless you want to pay full price.
