Any idea how long this’ll last? I have a trip in June and another in August for continuing education, and I’m footing the bill so this would be a great help if it still works!

Just keep in mind most 3rd party hotel bookings are nonrefundabke for any reason. Hotels do not refund 3rd party cancels. Best to book directly with hotel to save a hassle later if plans change and to get good rates, too.
