Just this week, Chick-fil-A introduced a new Frosted Key Lime beverage that is available all across the country!
This Frosted Key Lime drink is a hand-spun combination of Chick-fil-A’s IceDream, Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) and natural, sugar-free lime flavoring made from a blend of key limes, kaffir limes and Persian limes.
This new drink will be on the menu from March 18 until May 25 or while supplies last and is available in small and large servings with prices starting just a little over $3. Head over here for more information.

To get started, become a member by creating an account online or by downloading the Chick-fil-A App through the App Store or the Google Play store.

I’d been waiting for this to come to my area. Key lime anything is my fave and this actually fits into the gallbladder diet. I got the lite version for less sugar and it is soooooo yummy. I planned to only drink half but I ended up slurping the bottom of the cup with the straw.

Thanks for saving me some time Monica. When I saw “natural sugar free” I was hoping that meant it was truly just lime juice. Discovering that I’m senstivie to MSG led me to reading about aspartame, which led me to reading about other sugar substitutes (generally published scientific/medical articles, not bloggers or message board members on a rant). I try to keep the bulk of MSG and artificial sweeteners out of my diet and my daughters. (Not judging anyone who wants to try this treat or trying to start a debate.)
Nobody should ever have msg, aspartame or sugar substitutes. They are so bad for your gut.
The good news is this doesn’t appear to have any of that. ( but you might want to check your diet coke)
The ingredients don’t list sucralose.
Sadly, there is if you use the diet lemonade versus the regular lemonade in the key lime drink:

water, lemon juice, Splenda (dextrose, maltodextrin, sucralose).

The ingredient list for the diet lime and diet lemon versions of this frosted drink clearly shows Splenda (Sucralose.) There is no Splenda in the regular version of these 2 drinks.

They happened to be giving out samples when I was at the drive thru the other day. It was really delicious. I liked it better than the frosted lemonade.
