What are everyone’s thoughts on drinking purified water as opposed to spring water?
I don’t like the taste of purified water. I definitely prefer spring water. The Walgreens brand purified water is actually the one I dislike the most out of any I’ve had.
I drink everything and anything…but certain family members pick purified over spring. Says it’s better bc spring can still have “nasty” things in it. 🤷🏻♀️ I take it with a grain of salt, so if anyone ACTUALLY knows, I’d be interested, too!
Does Walgreens do rain checks?
Yes to rain checks.
Just know, if the deal would earn points, you wouldn’t get the points like cvs does.
yes, but they expire in 60 days!
Purified water is just municipal (city tap water) if that matters to you. I would check the ‘source’ listed on the label. Some cities I would choose not to drink water from …
The label on this says source is from a tap but its filtered through reverse osmosis this is one of the waters i like better then most doesnt upset my stomach and like taste better. Will get bad ones sometimes but i think its due to how water was stored or the heat mkes some taste funny if was in direct sun.
Overall do like this one
Is there a limit?
Hi Jasmin! I don’t find a limit listed in the ad. You could always call in to your store before heading out to be sure. Hope that helps!
I tried this water years ago and it was literally the worst water I have ever tasted. I’m generally not a snob about water ( I have friends who are) but this was so bad that I didn’t finish the case. Hopefully, it has improved since then.
Oh bummer! Sorry to hear you didn’t care for it! Thanks so much for the honest comment!
We have several nalgeen and CamelBak reusable bottles. I fill with tap water and ice…throw in the cooler and don’t need any additional ice. Basically free and so much better for the environment. Our water comes from a spring and tastes so much better than bottled.
sarah- you convinced me to pass on this. I am trying to lessen my carbon footprint.
love your name.. i am a JUDGE JUDY FAN TOO
yes, that’s all fine and dandy unless you live in a HURRICANE ZONE (or tornado alley, etc)! What are you going to do then, when you don’t have running water or the city supply is compromised? Bottled water is usually the first thing stores run out of when there’s a potential storm, so this is the time to stock up. I got 12 cases so far this wk. Last year, we didn’t have any major storms, so I dropped of several cases to my son’s school for the teacher’s lounge.
We have similar situation. We’re on the coast of Maine where a winter blizzard can take out our power and thus our well pump for days at a time so we’ve got to stay stocked with bottled water.
