I have had bad bad experiences with Ring 2! After a few days the live view won’t work anymore! Called ring, good customer service, but they kept saying the problem was my wifi, when everything else would still work, they kept saying it was my WiFi, so I returned and got my money back…. 6 months later, actually last weekend, I decided to give it a second shot, and bought it again… to my frustration this time, I couldn’t even get the live picture to work during installation…. tried for hours, even got the WiFi extend range device they sell… all for nothing! Again… returned! 😔

I had the same issue.
I got a free Ring thru my alarm company, just had to renew my 2 year contract. My Ring only worked 60% of the time. I ran a output test on my wifi and I believe it was 1.0 megabyte or gigabyte (i forget) and I was told my Ring required 2.0 so my Ring camera only works maybe 60% of the time. I need to find a new wifi provider cause AT&T says I have the highest output they offer.
Glad i didnt pay anything for the Ring unit.
But I still subscribe to the $3 a month thing cause my son rings the bell when he gets home from school and makes funny faces and dances cause he knows it will record and I can watch him.

Yea…the warranty is thru Ring themselves, not Amazon.
I got mine they ADT alarm and Ring said if someone steals it, get a police report and they will replace it for free.

I’m really confused on the Ring. Does this include monthly monitoring if purchased thru Amazon? I’m not in the makers for a monitoring system but I will gladly monitor myself.
Hi Crystal! Monthly monitoring is not included however it does allow you to see and respond to visitors at your door in real time through your phone, tablet or computer. Hope that helps!
FYI- you do have to pay to have them store the videos if you don’t see it live. It’s not that expensive and totally worth it! My neighborhood had car break ins and the cops came to all who had a ring to see videos. I hadn’t paid to save but do now! This is a great price and I love my ring2!
