Everyone always suggests to call for a better rate – I just tried a Thursday and Friday night in Grapevine, for August. Standard room, one adult, one kid. Over $840 after all fees. Sheesh. No wonder we’ve never been!
I’m sorry but this place is a rip off. Their rates are ridiculous, the fees they pile on the room rates are ridiculous and they always advertise “sale” and “discount” and it’s barely a savings.
Might not be super close but have you tried the Wilderness of the Smokies? They have other locations too.
I know this is a long shot but looking for anyone who can provide a comparison of Great Wolf Lodge to Kalahari in the Dells. Is there a wave pool at this water park? My son also loves the indoor/outdoor whirlpool. Just wondering if it’s comparable. Thanks!!
the kalahari offers a lot more for older kids – bigger slides, drop-type slides, kneeboarding. both have good sized wave pools. Kalahari has a lot more going on in addition to pools with the theme park and go carts, etc.
Thank you for your feedback..appreciate it!!!
