This is only showing the title for me?
    Anyone else?

Sorry for the confusion, Donna! It seems the site is having a few issues at the moment. We hope to have it fixed ASAP!

My only problem is that with two challenged brothers and three kids to many of them won’t eat it. One no corn, no beans, no peppers, etc., One no tomatoes, no corn, no peas, etc. Kids only want chicken nuggets (home made) and chicken tenders (finger food) etc. Just to hard to make everybody happy and if they never ate it before you can forget it. Wish I could though. At least I cook fresh…………. every day.

Amber, I get it. Thanks! I can read it now. 🙂

      Oh good! You’re welcome!

I have tried Hello Fresh & Every Plate. I have to say – I loooove these food deliveries. They are made for someone Just.Like.Me!! I hate to cook but they are so easy, self explanatory and good.
I can give a referral to save $40 off hello fresh and $20 off every plate. If anyone wants to try those email me. Gmazzucca@aol.com

I found blue apron to pricy for what we got. We have been using eMeals lately and for the $5 a month plus the cost of food we have really liked it. The food has been averaging about $8 a meal for the 2-3 person plan and with the integrated grocery store pick up it really isn’t to much extra effort than the delivery programs. All the meals we have cooked have been awesome.

I’ve done eMeals before and while the price is nice, the recipes are not. My husband and I got so tired of the bland food. How many times must one eat roasted red onions?! However, we have currently resubscribed to Blue Apron and we absolutely love it. The recipes are top notch and absolutely delicious. Only a few have been a miss. And when one box accidentally got covered by a package of chicken that leaked (gross!), customer service was quick to act and refunded our box immediately. No proof necessary.

You can also go to their website and just use their recipes. I sit my 7 year old in front of the screen and say, find dinner🤣🤣. Then I shop and make. I can’t afford blue apron.

That’s cute! Try foodgawker.com for meal ideas. I search for ingredients that are on sale for meals on the cheap.

I don’t know anything about the sponsor, but McDonald’s is darn pricey where I live, so I don’t think the comparison is coming off the way you intended lol!

  9. Erica

I’ve tried so many services and gotten the intro offers which are great but the regular prices are very high. I’ve been with every plate for about a year and a half and love them. It’s 4.99 per serving regularly. They just started a new thing where u pay one shipping fee for 3 months (existing members). It’s 29.94 for 3 meals 6 servings total each week. You can’t beat that.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing, Erica! We sure appreciate the feedback!

I have a discount grocery store close to me that occasionally sells Blue Apron meals for $6 (for 2 people). I try to scoop them up right away when I see them. My kids like to have breakfast food night every couple weeks so thats a great little date night dinner for my husband and I 🙂

    • jess

      Really? Which store

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How neat! Thanks for sharing your find with us!

  11. Jen

My two girls can be picky, and complain no matter what I make for dinner!
now, we go onto blue aprons website and each girl picks a meal, when we get it, they have to cook it. Because THEY did the cooking they are excited about eating it and want everyone to like it. Plus we try so many new and exotic dishes we would’ve NEVER tried!
We LOVE Blue apron, i normally don’t comment on anything but I thought I would share. (We haven’t tried any other droid delivery plans yet)

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

What a fun idea, Jen! My daughter would love that! Thanks a TON for sharing your experience with us!
