Limited Edition Mountain Dew Liberty Brew is 50 Fruity Flavors in One (Tastes Like a Bomb Pop)
When you were a kid, did you ever try squirting a little bit of every soda from the fountain to make up one crazy concoction? Well, now you can venture on the wild side again with Mountain Dew’s Liberty Brew!
Just like the past few summers, this new Mountain Dew flavor is a limited edition drink which you should be able to find at most retailers through the end of August. As you can see from the pictures above, we recently spotted an entire display of this new beverage at our local Walmart store.
This soda includes 50 fruity flavors in one that some are saying tastes like a Bomb Pop and some are saying tastes like Pepsi Blue. You’ll have to try it and decide for yourself to see what flavor stands out to you.

Through August 10th, take part in the DEWnited States promotion for a chance to win a $100 Visa prepaid card!
Here’s what you need to do to participate:
- Buy all fifty DEWnited individually-designed State bottles (one for each state) in either MTN DEW or DIET MTN DEW in the following package sizes: 20 oz, 16.9 oz, and 16.0 oz. All 50 state labels are available in every state.
- Look for a unique 10-character alphanumeric code underneath the green bottle caps of the specially-marked labels.
- Log into your Dewnited.com account using your e-mail address and password and register, enter a code, and take a “live” photo of your corresponding state label (limit of twenty 20 codes and label uploads per participant per day).
- Once you collect all 50 DEWnited States Labels and enter the corresponding codes, you will be eligible to receive a $100 Visa prepaid card! Limit of 5 Visa prepaid card redemptions per participant!
Does this come in diet?
Good question! I don’t find anything listed on a diet variety. Maybe check the display at your store to see if that may be an option.
I tried it last week. For me personally it taste like grape soda and very sweet. Not purchasing again.

I can’t say exactly what it tastes like but to me it tasted very much of blue if that makes any sense. Also kind of like what a blue slurpee would taste like if melted. I agree that the drink is pretty sweet. But it doesn’t taste bad in my opinion but of course it’s whatever kind of drinks you prefer. I’m guessing if you normally drink sweet pops you will like it, such as the other flavored mountain dews, like the other blues, reds and purples.

Must have for summer fun. It’s sweet and yummy. Reminds me of a Blue Raspberry marshmallow flavor. As an adult, I do not typically drink any carbonated drinks aside from the Bubly or La Croix, but this is fun for the kids and tasty!

Just tried my first bottle of it today…. And I have to say I LOVE IT!!!! Kind of reminds me of a mix between either a blue raspberry slushy and eating skittles flavors together. Either way I found my nw fav and I will be drinking this all summer till I b ant find it anymore. All ready have a 12 pack of cans in fidge getting cold for today and this weekend. I love it..Reminds me of the Blue Pop Rocks… I will Definitely be Purchasing more. But at $6.99 a 12 pk . I will travel the 2hrs to Walmart to stock up…smiles
