Can a “complimentary Cardholder” apply to become a new member and get these savings? My husband is the current member and I am a “complimentary cardholder” under his membership. The membership expires Monday, 7/8. We canceled the auto renewal because we don’t want to pay the full membership fee.
Either one of you can. It just goes by email address. A little way around this is to enter your email with a period somewhere in it. Sam’s Club will recognize it as a “new” email, but it will still go to your regular email account because periods don’t count for email addresses (meaning that gmail, yahoo, etc only recognize the letters, not the periods so it doesn’t matter where they are). So I just sign up on this promo every summer and put a period in my email somewhere else. I think I learned that from a comment on one of these a couple years ago.
I haven’t had any luck renewing with a new email or using the period in the email this time. I wonder if they have changed how they recognize past accounts???
