These kids bento lunch boxes include five practical compartments – a larger compartment for an entree, three mid-size compartments (perfect for fruit or veggies) and a small compartment for dipping sauces. They have a leak-proof seal and also feature a removable tray for easy cleaning.
Here’s what Hip2Save readers say about these lunch boxes…
I purchased this exact box 3 years ago and it’s still in perfect condition. Well insulated, nothing leaks into the different compartments, holds the perfect amount of food. Definitely well worth the price for the quality. This is a great deal!
We have one and love it. It comes apart in 2 pieces making it easy to clean and it can go in the dishwasher which is a plus. Have never had an issue with leaking but it is a tad bulky. Overall a good buy.
I love love love these. I have yumbox (which are totally fine too) and some off brands. This one holds up, cleans easy and it perfect. I find the kids one is good for my pre-schooler but not really big enough for my kids in school.
I saw these at target this week when shopping for a lunch box for my 5 year old son. I was so surprised how small they are. I was afraid it wouldn’t fit enough food for him!
I ended up going with an off brand that was bigger.
Thanks for the feedback, Jes! I’ve been considering grabbing some and I’ll have to take your advice and scope them out first at Target!
My daughter is 7 and a pretty big eater and I found these to be a good size. I usually pack half a sandwich in the “big” compartment, a fruit and a veggie in the medium compartments with a dressing to dip in the middle circle one, and goldfish or pretzels in the smaller compartment.
These containers are awesome! My daughter has used them for 2 school years and they still look brand new. My daughter’s school has short lunch periods so only having to open one container vs. several containers really helps!
Two years is awesome! I’m glad to hear they hold up so well.
Just as an FYI, I purchased the Bentgo trays off of Amazon last year ($9.99) and they work great on their own. They aren’t 100% leak-proof, but as I don’t put liquids in, it’s just fine. They also fit inside my kids’ Pottery Barn lunch boxes.
