These are okay for practice at home. They wear out in a few days at school. Expo is worth it for school shopping!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the honest review. We haven’t grabbed these yet.

  2. KLS

Expo 4-packs are $1.99 this week at Office Depot. Of course, I saw it on Hip2Save.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the reminder! 😊🙌

    • Sla1981

Do you remember what day you saw that? I only see them for $2.99

        • Sla1981

Thanks unfortunately I can’t click on it or highlight it to post in my browser. 🙁

          • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh bummer! Maybe try a different browser OR switch to desktop view if using a mobile device. Hoping that helps!

      • KLS

I went to the store yesterday and bought them. I live in IL.

You get what you pay for w/ these. Worth the extra to get Expo which will last lots longer.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, Lindsey! I have liked the Expo brand too!

    • Michele

I agree. Dollar tree dry erase markers are not worth the money.

    Buyer Beware!

I bought my dry erase markers and red ink pens from DollarTree last year. I had extras that I kept at home, and they did not work well at all. The markers were dry and never worked, and the pens always had to be tinkered with before they worked. I felt so bad, I sent new ones into the teacher!

However, they do have great glitter markers that write like a Sharpie. They are awesome and you get 3 ( I think) for a dollar!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the honest comment and helpful suggestion! I’ll have to keep a lookout for their glitter markers! My daughter would love those!

  5. KeriB

I love Dollar Tree and buy quite a bit there but sadly I agree with the above posters. These dry erase markers aren’t very good at all and dry up quickly. Needless to say this year I spent more and bought some quality ones for homeschool

  6. Brianna

There’s 4 pack dry erase markers at Walgreens for $0.99!

    • lisa

I like the Walgreens ones too

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh awesome! I don’t find that online. Did you spot those in store?

      • Brianna

Yes! I snapped a picture I can send if desired.

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Sure! Feel free to send any finds over to collin@hip2save.com. Thanks so much!

  7. MakoKaKeni!

Got 4 pack expo markers for 1.99 at office depot

  8. Jess

The Expo markers at OD is a regional sale. It is not that price in TX. Check your local store ad online.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful feedback, Jess!

  9. Michelle

My Walgreens in Ohio had 4 packs of Expo on a buy one get one free promo. I got 8 for $4.99. Expo is definitely worth the price over knock offs!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great score, Michelle. Happy you could stock up on the cheap! It appears that sale has ended.
