After spending hours and plenty of cash crafting a Lego table and storage system, I have to say, it doesn’t work for us. The very best system we’ve found is a plastic under-the-bed storage bin. I leave an old sheet in there as well if they want to dump everything out. Best of luck!
My son always liked it because he likes sorting his LEGOs by color! It was too much work for me, but he didn’t mind doing it.
I bought a storage bin ant Ikea its in the kids section. Paid around $45 with organizer containers. Everyone always asks were we got it and how a great idea it was to use for legos.
Can u please post it for collin to let us see this Ikea idea?
Hi Rose! Which storage bin from IKEA?
After five boys and tons of Legos, these drawers would not be enough for us! We just pick up regular plastic drawer/organizers similar to these and make sure the drawers come out easily enough to put on the floor or table or wherever. (Although these are definitely cuter!)
Five boys! You go mom! Glad they enjoy their LEGOs!
I may have thousands of dollars in Legos, I’m 36. I’m addicted. I use Trofast from IKEA. I’ve sorted mine by color too.
LOL! Having thousands of LEGOs is totally normal at 36!
We use trofast too! It works great. Slides in and out easily and can sort any way they want the pieces.
