The Costco one is awesome! I have several of them and pose them in my yard zip tied to T posts and it works out really well

    • Jessica (Hip' Sidekick)

That sounds so cool, Wendy! Spoooooky! Thanks for the comment!

  2. Lizzie

FYI Costco in Phoenix has pumpkin pies out already! 😍

    • Jessica (Hip' Sidekick)

I saw them at my Costco too, Lizzie!

  3. Amy

These are great, but my husband is way too immature for something like this.

    • Jessica (Hip' Sidekick)

Hahaha, that is too funny, Amy!

  4. Marie

These are SOOO much fun! Our family has a tradition of hiding them in unique places all throughout October – could be the shower, or the head peeking out from the top of the linen closet when you open the door. Whoever finds it has to relocate it. My girls look forward to it every year.

    • Jessica (Hip' Sidekick)

What a fun idea, Marie! My daughter does that with my mom’s (her grandma’s) skeleton “Mr. Bones”. She loves pranking her grandparents and they loving doing it right back to her!

  5. Chilenitatx

I’ve wanting one for a while. For the $29 one from Home Depot. Delivered for $32!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Great buy!

We have several of these, and we love them, but if you’re a health care professional or an anatomist, please know that the Costco version and some similar skeletons have the tibias/fibulas mixed up, and you can’t fix them. I tried unbolting them and switching sides, and the switching the feet, but the holes don’t line up when putting them back together 😞. I know these are only decorations and not anatomy skeletons, but this is a pretty major flaw. I just wanted you to know in case that bothers you, so that you can double check when choosing your new bony friend!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful warning! Good to know!

  7. Rebecca Patterson

The skeleton is on clearance for $29.97 at Costco

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Ooh! Nice find! We’ll be sure to check our locations for that price too! Thanks for sharing!

How do you get the screw out of the battery cover? I’ve tried jewelers screwdrivers & cant remove the screw
