I found my answer – These are the older version – These have the charging case not the WIRELESS charging case – Sadly its only a $5 savings – Thanks H2S for the tip – Hoping someone puts the newer ones on sale soon since they have been out a year
These are the latest model which came with and without a wireless charging case the old airpods did not have the chip that allows for saying hey siri. It is not a $5 savings they are $159 retail and the wireless charging case ones are $199!

These are the latest model. It says so clearly on the website. You can get this model with wireless or regular charging case but this is for the regular case. We own these and for us that’s not been an issue at all.
Same here. I just bought mine recently and since I still plug everything in to charge, it’s not an issue. The main thing for me was to not have the wire going from my ears That’s wireless enough for me
Will Costco accept returns if they do not stay in your air? I have trouble with headphones and am nervous to try expensive ones if I can’t return them.
