   Just wanted to say that my son (almost 4yo at the time) got this for Christmas last year and LOVES it still at almost 5yo. It’s a great deal at $50 – lots of different ways to set up the tracks, great moving parts, just a really great play set!

   When Fisher Price took over Thomas from Tomy, the toys got noticibly more durable. The downside seems to be Thomas got more commercialized – more styles of trains (to sell more) and less character development of new trains (again, to sell more). Even the music went downhill. But at least the giant toys don’t collapse!! 😊
