This bag literally just saved me from having to pay baggage fees. It didn’t fit in the carry-on compartment, so I popped this out of my bigger pack and unloaded most of my stuff into the stow pack. Probably the best thing I’ve ever bought for travel!
I bought this for a trip to Disneyworld. It’s not heavy, just enough volume to hold five disposable rain ponchos and a real rain jacket, plus four water bottles (the side mesh pocket will also hold two 16 oz. water bottles). It made it through the trip in one piece.
I used this as a day pack while traveling backpacker style through Latin America for over a year. Evvvverrryyy day, on the beach, hiking through forests, floating around the floor of a bus etc. FILLED with stuff: heavy stuff, electronics with hard edges, liters of water for hiking, everything. It was the PERFECT bag. I can’t believe how well it held up.

I’ve been on the phone with Amazon & 3 different reps. Finally I’m told they can’t honor Osprey ultra light pack for $21.17; that is full $34.95 price.
I’d like to understand the snafu. Please advise. Thank you
