I just left H-E-B here in Texas and an eight pack of that same price so if you think your family could use more, I’m sure that is a very good deal! And hopefully delicious too!
Oh cool! Thanks for the helpful suggestion!
Box of strawberries (<$2), melting chocolate or chocolate chips ( chocolate covered strawberries đŸ™‚
True, but for this one day a year, I had the time so I picked up a set of 4. I always make our girls a special morning breakfast on Valentine’s day, so happy to do that again tomorrow. BUT YES, normally we make them together at home for much less. Just celebrating a special day. Plus, these look about a million times better than my homemade ones.
Sam’s club has a 12 pack for $9.98 good in-store through tomorrow đŸ™‚ MORE CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES FOR LESS!! YAY!!
YUM! Thanks, Amanda! Good to know!
For those that are interested in making them, I found a 2 ingredient recipe (chocolate chips and coconut oil) for magic shell, that’s super easy to make and is delicious!

Never buy chocolate covered strawberries! It is much cheaper to make your own. They are so simple to do. Buy melting chocolate and literally just dip strawberries in. There is no wrong way. Place on parchment paper or baking mat to harden and that is done. If doing white chocolate drizzle, melt white chocolate and put it in a ziploc then snip the corner a tiny bit and drizzle. Super easy and quick. Most your time will be spent waiting for chocolate to harden.
they taste better when someone else makes them
Lol. Usually. Definitely look better from the store anyways. Mine look far from presentable.
It’s really not hard to make your strawberries look like these. The drizzle is easier than it looks. Just be sure to get the correct consistency of white chocolate. Add paramount crystals to the white chocolate little by little to get the correct consistency. Check consistency with a spoon. Most of my kids can even make tuxedo chocolate covered strawberries.
Have your kids make them. I usually let my kids make them and I just supervise to make sure they don’t burn themselves.
School was canceled today due to ice. I decided to make some chocolate covered strawberries, apples and bananas with my kids. We all had fun and they taste good.
Aww, That’s awesome, Shirley! Thanks for taking a moment to comment! Wishing you and your family a Happy Valentine’s Day! đŸ’–
