Sesame Street and CNN are Launching 90-Minute Special to Answer Kids COVID-19 Questions
CNN and Sesame Street are teaming up for a special town hall this Saturday morning to help children better understand why life is different now due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The ABC’s of COVID-19 will air on Saturday, April 25 at 9 AM ET on CNN. The 90-minute special will provide information for families as it answers kids’ questions in the kind, gentle, age-appropriate manner that Sesame Street is known for.
The special will be hosted by CNN’s Chief Medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, anchor Erica Hill, and Big Bird. They’ll be joined by some other familiar faces from Sesame Street too, including Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Rosita, and Grover as they cover issues like homeschooling, worry, screen time, and playdates.
