We bought snow cone syrup for an ice cream recipe which led us to then getting the snow cone machine. So easy and quick to use. Makes great ice that I use for drinks, in addition to using the ice for snow cones. I’m hoping this will end up saving me money in the long run since this should reduce the number of summer snow cone runs we make.
I love crunching on “good ice” and now being pregnant, I crave it constantly! This ice shaver is wonderful. Make sure the ice compartment is always FULL to shave ice efficiently. I don’t have an ice maker, so I use square cubes from my ice trays and they work just fine in this shaver!
As soon as my bowl is full of shaved ice, I just empty the unshaven ice cubes back into a cup and leave in the freezer for my next ice-shaving session. Shaver is compact, easy to use, and just what I wanted.
