Where are the hanging baskets in the post thumbnail picture? I don’t see them list as one of the deals?
The ad states, “Actual plant size and selection varies by location.” The top plants for $5 may not be available at your store.
Does Home Depot have any hanging flowers on sale?
Buyer beware on the Nature Scape mulch..I purchased some last time they were 5/$10… and now I have mushrooms growing everywhere in my flower bed. Never used this brand of mulch before and never had this problem before.
I have used that brand before, never had that problem, perhaps is the humidity in the soil
Most lawn mushrooms are a good sign that your soil is healthy below the soil surface. … Those mushrooms popping up on your property are most likely fertilizing your lawn, as fungi break down wood and other dead plant material into nutrients that other plants can use.
I bought them last time they were 5/$10 and one of the bags had termites in it..!! I didn’t notice until I had dumped it and spread it out. Had to run back to the store for termite killer. By the time I got back they were crawling along my foundation. We ended up buying the termite stakes to put around our foundation just in case some survived the spray. So, great savings on the mulch but then spent $60 on termite killer/preventative.
Yikes!
Yes I did too which was weird and I hate mushrooms
Mushrooms that are freaky and red spiked
Lowe’s in Maryland did not have any geraniums in baskets for 5$. Most of what they had was vinca and petunia.
The picture of 3 for 10 perennials is actually annuals (zinnia, vinca, etc).
But there were some nice 3 for 10$ perennials including Shasta daisies, coral bells, lavender, rosemary, dianthus, black eyed Susans etc. Some looked a little root bound and poorly watered. But worth sifting through for sure!!!
Thanks! I’m sure different areas carry different types of plants due to climates. I’m glad you found them!
Thank you! I’m going to get some hanging baskets today.
Yay! You’re welcome, Lori! Happy shopping!
If your Walmart has a garden center check there first as I saw similar hanging baskets marked down to $2.49 after I paid $5 at Lowe’s
