For us the terrible customer service, pricing games, and frequent low quality purchases that had to be returned got so tiresome.
We made the decision to stop spending our money there, and we have not regretted it once, going on two years now.
It sounds crazy, but I feel like a weight lifted off my shoulders lol! We were avid Kohl’s shoppers for years and years. We bought EVERYTHING for us, our 4 kids, and our home from kohl’s. Everything from socks and underwear to outfits and accesories, towels and candles to serta mattresses. You name it, we bought it there. I have purchased $0 from them the last few months and will never go back! Ahhhh, freedom lol!

I must say I went to Kohl’s during Christmas and got bogo adidas socks for my kids thinking I got a bargin but sadly. The next day found them at TJ Maxx for much less. The exact same socks … I have realized some of my stacking coupon strategies aren’t that great feeling when I find the item much cheaper at an outlet store so I proceed with caution at Kohl’s
I have totally realized that now that I have stepped away from Kohl’s. I needed a new shark vac and got “such a great deal!” at kohl’s last time I purchased the one we have by stacking 40% with $10 off $25 plus $10/$50 home purchase. Let me tell ya, I found the same vaccum recently online at Kroger.com! I never would have thunk it! For $40 cheaper than Kohl’s after using all those codes…no coupons needed. Shopping at Kohl’s for almost a decade, I have definetly figured out what is crap and what is not there. The good quality items are branded and can be purchased elsewhere at the same or often times cheaper I have recently found. Google is an awesome tool!

I bought more than I wanted to reach mvp status and I get rewarded by a 15% code. Never again, and I will have to make them ship me things many times for free this year to make myself feel better. Very cheap things.
We finally made the decision to get rid of our Kohl’s card as well. Really tired of the games with the sales on and off again and the Cole’s cash and then you never know how much money you’re going to get back when you return some thing. They make it so difficult to figure out what you actually paid for some thing. No thanks.
